Happy Thanksgiving

Did everyone had their fill of turkey? I really wish I could have been two places at once. Im blessed with great family all around.
Im back to work on the weekends, which means I miss out on the times when most normal people are out having fun. Thank's to Shaun for being the best father and husband, he is taking such great care of the kids and house when I'm working.
Christmas is coming fast, lets go back before the time of bragging about what we got, and remember why we are really celebrating.
We hope the season is wonderful for everyone.

Happy Halloween!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Halloween. We took George around to relatives and grandma's neighbors. Halloween has been a big day for George.....we found out he was going to be in our lives last year on Halloween and today he got his first two teeth!! We celebrated by giving him his first sucker. (Here comes his first cavity...) He loved it!

October

Shaun, George and I came up to Idaho Falls for the week for work and some fun too....Playing cards with Grandma Taylor and hanging out. Grandma Mitchell had this Johnny-jump-up all the grandkids had used, George LOVED it! He's cutting two bottom teeth which makes him grouchy. Grandma had some camomille oil for rubbing on his gums that worked instantly. Thank goodness for home remedys. When he's in a good mood he's been laughing out loud. He's growing up so fast, we had to buy year old onesies yesterday, he's outgrown his 9 month old clothes, so sad to say, because he had some really cute ones. I almost hope for another boy later down the road so we can use them again.

The kids are out of school for fall break for a few days. We kind-of all went our seperate ways this week. Hannah went to visit friends and family in Texas this week with her mom. She's going to be little-red-riding-hood. David wanted to stay in town for the Halloween dance and party's, so he's staying with his Grandma and Grandpa Walker. Im sure he'll use the cousins for an excuse to trick-or-treat. (Unfortunatly the trial didn't go our way, much to everyone's dissapointment).

Happy Halloween to everyone! Stay safe.

Updates...

Just wanted to make a quick post. We all love that new addition. He gets a lot of everyones attention for sure. The kids started school this week. David is really excited about making some new friends already, taken in some of the new freshmen is the word on the street. Hannah is excited as well, she got a favorite teacher from her first year, Ms. Arch. They are both growing up so fast. I will post some pictures of them as soon as I load them on the computer.

The business is going well, definately starting to ramp up. Did an analysis today for a client, she will be able to pay off her mortgage in 11.2 years rather then 27 that she would have paid with out our help, thus saving her over 118,000 in interest charges. I love my new job.

More about the new business.....

Check out this link on you tube, this is an investigative report by NBC on channel 3 in Nevada, about the Money Merge Account software program that Shaun is selling. Just 4 minutes long.....

I really think everyone should know about it.
It's not "to good to be true" this really works!

we are both pretty sure this is one of the cutest things ever...

August 23rd update...

Last week of freedom for the kid's. We've spent the week back-to-school shopping. Both Hannah and David are going back to their charter schools, Salt Lake Arts Academy and East Hollywood High. I'm a huge advocate for choosing your children's education path. Both of them have thrived in these environments. I just wish they were around when I was in high school. I'm surprised about how many people that we talk to don't know about them. Or if they do know, they think they are as expensive as private schools.

George is doing great. he is developing his own personality every day, laughing at his dad and lately cooing and awwing when he's being talked to. We swear he is a genius. Only 5 weeks old and doing things that the books say is a milestone he should reach after 2 months. I wish we could figure out how to post video (maybe I'll try to figure that one out this week, or maybe not).

Shaun's new venture...

Congratulation's to my smart husband...He's been studying for weeks and passed all his testing. He is now an official "Independent Agent" for United First Financial. Check it out at www.debtfreeproject.org . We are so excited about this....... It's a program that cancels out the interest you pay the bank when it comes to your mortgage, saving you tens of thousands sometimes even hundreds of thousands of dollars in interest charges. We are going to pay off our home in less then 6 years....5.7 to be exact, saving $156,000.00 in intrest!!! because of the off-set. And it really works. We're showing everyone we know because it's so amazing! It's just a new way of thinking, so many people are use to the old concept. I'm so optimistic about this, and so are the people we've talked to, they get so excited. I know how they feel because I sat up for nights studying the program to really figure it out. I cant believe how much money we'll be saving by using this software, and you know the game I love playing when it comes to saving money, with this we will win for sure.

4 weeks old today!

He's awed by his father.
Then biting his finger and making the funniest grunting noises. We were laughing so hard.

David wore this very Tux outfit 15 years ago.

He's so peaceful when he's sleeping
Proud big sis.

Visiting the Grandma's in Idaho

I think they like him.

George's room

David and Hannah painted this mural for George's room.....They are Artists!!
It's inspired by a Becky Kelly picture I love.
The stars are wooden, glow in the dark, 3-D.
I'm so proud of them, they are great big siblings (although neither of them have changed a diaper)

The rocking chair is over a hundred years old and George's namesake, his great-grandfather was rocked in it.

What a Guy....

There is no doubt I am a very proud father... How can you not love that little squishy face of his... We are all so happy George is here. I am spending my first week back out on the road after his arrival... I am not loving it. I like being home with all those I love. I keep expecting that George will be twice his size by the time I get home. Damn he's cute...

this is just some of my art from the Vegas trip....

Our wonderful children

Man we are good at this kissing thing. That was a fantastic dinner. Mmmm Good...

George update

We did another non-stress test today, still looking good in there, but no progress as far as George wanting to make his entrance into the world. Looks like the induction will take place starting Sunday night, they will give me pills in the hospital that night, send me home and then we wait for the contractions to start. Should be sometime Monday morning. I've really been wondering how long it would take if we decided against modern medicine, but thank goodness it's avalible. We're all tired of waiting, I haven't had a good night's sleep for a long time, not that it will change much when the baby comes, but at least Shaun can help out.
I'm having a great time trying to fill in this blog. It's July 13 and our son is due to arrive any day. Kate and I both believe we are going to have to go in after him and force him out. It should be pretty exciting at any rate. Not that I mind her pregnant, I think she's beautiful this way. So I am glad that we have the blog to work on because it shifts the attention else where while waiting for the boy. I will continue posting wedding photos and have remembering that awesome day.

I love this pic of the kids and I in Vegas. That was a fantastic day.

Thursday, July 12, 2007

As you can tell, there was a lot of kissing going on in Vegas. Man I love that woman.

Everyone is a rock star in Vegas.

One of our little kisses on the way home from Vegas, after the wedding.

Sunday, July 8, 2007

Hello, this is Kate.
Yes, we are still waiting for this baby to make his entrance. Now 4 days overdue. The Dr. said it's still a ways off though. I'm going in twice a week for a "Non-stress test" where they hook me up to monitors and do ultrasounds to make sure he's OK. So far so good.
We will let everyone know as soon as anything exciting happens.....promise.
Until then we will all try to have patience.

This is some pictures of me the day Shaun and I met...
I was one of the models on his photo shoot.....
it's nice to try to remember my pre-pregnant body.....
