Today I had my 28 week appt. with my midwife. Before the appt. I was thinking we have plenty of time...a whole 3 months! Then she proceeds to tell me that she'll be seeing me every 2 weeks now! All of a sudden 3 months doesn't seem so long anymore. I felt a rush of anxiety and realized there's so much to get done. But all in due time...right?
I'm so looking forward to having a baby in the house again. There's something about a new life that breathes fresh perspective and purpose.
We anxiously and joyously await your arrival, baby Thatcher!

Here are a few pics from our Christmas & New Years goings-on. We stayed around town and hopped from house to house eating and then headed off with some friends to celebrate New Years!

It's a BOY!
First of all, we found out Tuesday that we're having a BOY! We are thrilled and can't wait to find out what it's like being the parents of a little boy made of (to quote a famous poem) "snails and puppy dog tails". Thanks to all of you who voted concerning the sex of our tiny-to-come and congrats to the majority who were correct!

Exhausted....
I am exhausted! Does anyone have a love hate relationship with this time of year?? Skipping from event to event has completely worn me out...of course being pregnant may have something to do with it. I'm ready for January, ready for routine, ready for schedule and structure!
