We have roll over!

Watch out world! Mason is on the move. He rolled over for the first time on Sunday, March 1st. Here it is on video for all to see!!!

It's hard to believe he will be 5 months old on Sunday. Every stage has its perks, but I really love this one. He is so smiley and giggly. He brings so much joy to my day. He has found his voice and I love when he makes his sounds. I'm convinced he is teething since he is constantly eating his hands and drooling. I don't see anything yet, but I'm sure it's working its way through. I tried to give him some rice cereal last week and he wasn't a big fan. For now momma's milk is doing the trick. I'll try again soon. He likes to play with his doggy rattle and loves his bouncy seat too. What a doll!!

Will this hold up in court?

Just in case Brittany ever decides to emancipate herself I have this on video.

Things I want to remember

There are so many cute things about my kids right now that it is hard to write about them all. Here are just a few:

Jared: Loves to draw (especially super heroes), says he wants to be a super hero artist when he grows up, always wants to be the center of attention, loves to watch Cartoon Network, loves to play Lego Batman on the Wii with Keith, is a kind and loving big brother (most of the time), doesn't like to eat breakfast right when he wakes up, thinks he is to big for a sippy cup, loves McDonald's and when he gets the same toy twice he doesn't have the patience to wait and see if we can exchange it and has to open it up anyways, loves to draw pictures for his friends, is an excellent student (even though it's just preschool), doesn't like his feet dirty, is kind of a scaredy cat, loves Swedish meatballs and anything with sugar. I could go on and on but I have two other kids to get to.

Brittany: Loves to watch Dora the Explorer, tells me often that she loves me, when she birps she asks if she can be excused (she confuses this with asking to be excused from the dinner table, but it's so cute I don't care and keep letting her do it.), loves to do puzzles, enjoys reading, gets books and says she is at the library, rides on her princess car and tells me she is going different places (sometimes its church, other times its McDonald's, but it's always cute) LOVES Mason and wants to hold him a lot, tells me she misses Jared when he sleeps in later than her, tells me she misses Daddy when she wakes up and realizes he is at work, when Mason is crying and she is coloring she tells him she is trying to concentrate, asks to go to bed when she is tired (this is amazing!!), loves to help me cook, enjoys cleaning. She is at the cutest age and I wish I could freeze her and this age and never let her grow up.

Mason: when I change his diaper now he gets really excited and starts kicking his legs really fast, loves to nurse, giggles when I tickle him around the neck (usually with my mouth and chin), giggles at Jared a lot, reaches for his toys on the activity thing, bounces up and down in the Jumparoo, lately he cries when I put him in the carseat and go in the car (what's up with that?), when I leave him for an hour or two with Keith I miss him and can't wait to get back to him. He's my little man.

My Three Babes- Had to take the picture twice to get them to all look at the camera with eyes open. It won't happen in just one shot. Sigh.

Bye Bye Debbie Downer

Sorry about yesterday's post. I am feeling much better. Amazing what some sleep can do (and a little sunshine.) So, I should share the good parts about yesterday's doctor's visit. Mason weighs 16 lbs. and has grown 3 inches. He is in the 75% and 80% (not sure which is which) for height and weight. Go me! Brittany also had her 3 year check up and she weighs 34.8 lbs. and is 39 inches tall. Not sure about her percentiles, but she is definitely growing. She hated the check up part and cried all the way through. Mason got his shots of course, but all things considered did very well and is still doing well.

Today is my catch up day. I plan to stay in my pj's and clean, do laundry, feed children, bathe children, watch The Bachelor finale, and do some organizing. Fun stuff!

Just getting by

I feel like I am barely getting by these days. I had a sleepless night last night, thanks to Mason's tummy ache. Then I had a terrible experience at the doctor today which I do not have the energy to explain. Let's just say I waited with 3 small children to see the doctor for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I was not a happy camper when he finally showed his face and he heard about it. So, I feel like I am barely hanging on here. The house is a mess and there is laundry to do, but I have no energy to do it. SO, I will just post this pathetic posting and go to bed (and hope that Mason lets me get some sleep tonight.)
