Zach was able to take 7 days off of work after Quinley was born, and we were spoiled! Zach has been the best Daddy ever! He loves his Quinley so much! He takes care of her in any way he can.  He'll change her diapers, feed her, read to her, rock her, sing to her... really he is the best! He would also take care of her in the mornings and let me sleep a little bit longer. Today he had to go back to work and we miss him a bunch! Thankfully he is able to video chat with us during his breaks and lunch! That has been nice.  Thank you Zach for everything...your girls love you!

Okay...so I'm kinda behind in posting this, but SHE'S HERE! Quinley Adeline was born Thursday, March 10th at 11:07pm. She weighed 7lbs, 2oz and was 19 inches long. She is just perfect!! She didn't come how we had planned, but she was born healthy and that's all that matters.  I was admitted to the hospital for high blood-pressure and they decided to induce me.  After 24 hours of labor they informed me my pelvis was too small to fit her through and I would need to have a c-section.  I have no idea why they couldn't tell that sooner, but thankfully the c-section went well and I am doing much better than I anticipated.  They had me walking 12 hours after the surgery and i've just been getting better everyday.  I guess because I can't ever just sit still, I've been up doing all sorts of things. And now I get 8 weeks off with her! Which I am very happy about.

We finished Quinley's nursery last night. It has turned out great! Now everything is ready for her.  But I've told her she still isn't allowed to come until March 18th or later. :-)  It's still weird to think she could be here pretty much anytime between now and the next 5 weeks at most.

Incase you haven't heard...we're having a baby girl!! Quinley Adeline is due on March 27th, 2011.  We can't wait!!!!!  We have had 3 beautiful baby showers and have her room just about complete.  I will make my last big shopping trip this weekend with our Target registry completion coupon and the gift cards we received.  I will do 2 last loads of her laundry (her closet is PACKED!) and arrange everything in her room.  Then all that is left is to hang photos and decorations in her nursery.

I found this shirt at Target on clearance for $2 I couldn't resist. I made him wear it yesterday. We also decided on a middle name for him. Mostly inspired by the fact that he tends to look like a teddy bear sometimes. Plus...if he does something wrong, we can say, "GRISWOLD THEODORE!!!!," haha We love our buddy.

Here is my birthday cake! Isn't it lovely? Ever since I was little my birthday cake would have a theme each year of one of the biggest things I liked or did that year. My Mom and Zach collaborated and got this cake made for me with a picture of our house on it. The lady who made our wedding cake made this one and it is yummy!

Here is our new family member! Griswold Griffin!  We adopted him from our local humane society. He is an american cocker spaniel/poodle.  He is about 4 years old.  After we got him Zach planned an afternoon in the park with a picnic.  We had a really great time. Griswold loves to play and run around.  We just got him home about an hour ago and he is being such a good boy. We are so excited to have him.
