It's Christmas Time!

This is my favorite time of year. I love all the parties, shopping, and yummy baked treats! Another high light is checking my mail box everyday. I love getting Christmas cards, I thoroughly enjoy it.
Last Sunday was the Thompson family Christmas party. This is a picture of Todd's parents with all their grandchildren posing with Santa. We had such a good time with all of Todd's family.

Yesterday was Mack's preschool Christmas Program. It was so cute! My sister in law Heather is his teacher and she put together the cutest program. The kids sang a bunch of Christmas songs with Feliz Natividad being one of my favorites. Every time Mack hears that song now on the radio he gets the biggest smile on his face and sings along to all the words.

This year has been a "year full of firsts" for Noah. Here he is meeting Santa for the first time, checking him out and pulling on his beard making sure it's real!

Ethan asked Santa for X box 360...

Kate wants a Barbie bike for Christmas!
Isn't he the best Santa you've ever seen?

A few of my favorites..

We had our family pictures taken a few weeks ago. Here are a few of my favorites.
This is the picture we used for our Christmas card this year.

I guess this is the "casual pose" ;-) love it...

I love this one of all the kids...

Thanks Erin! You are an amazing photographer...

What have we been up to?

Starting off with Thanksgiving. This year we celebrated with Todd's Family, as usual the food was great! We have really good cooks in the family :) Todd brought up his quad along with my BIL Chad so everyone got to go for a ride. Todd and I even got to go out together.

Grandpa Thompson, Uncle Tommy, Baby Syndey, Trevor, and cousin Brent watching football

Grandma Bettie working in the kitchen with Aunt Kimberly... did I mention how good the food was?!?!

master Turkey carving going on by Todd and Uncle Chad...

Self portrait of Todd and I...

Baby Noah's FIRST Thanksgiving. He hasn't mastered crawling yet but is really close. He also has his first bottom tooth coming in. He's so cute! Look at those big feet.

Melissa and her family came down from AZ so we decided to renew our Disneyland passes and join them. We had a great time. Thursday wasn't crowded at all but when we went back on Friday it was a different story! We had such a good time and really enjoyed all the Christmas decorations. I love Disneyland this time of year.

And finally basketball season is here! Here is Ethan at his first gameI (forgot to take a picture of Trevor playing). I love basketball, the boys are so much fun to watch!

Me and my 7 month old man

Noah turned 7 months old on November 2nd. My sister in law Kimberly took these pictures of us while we were at Ben's baby blessing in Glendora that day.
How in the world can my baby be 7 months old?!?!?

He LOVES to eat! Here are a few of his favorite foods...
Bananas, rice cereal, ALL vegetables...and really ALL fruits, I guess he likes everything I've given him so far.
He's "finally" meaning just yesterday, mastered sitting up on his own and his brothers are trying so hard to teach him to crawl. His eye lashes are super long but no teeth yet!
Everything would be "perfect" if he slept better :) I just can't let him cry and I KNOW...I'm making it harder on myself but I just can't do the whole sleep training thing...I try (really I do..) but I just can't do it... can someone move in for a week and help me please?

He absolutely loves his brothers and sister and they love him. It's so neat to see all the love that a baby brings into your home. He is a mamas boy and cries if I leave the room. We are attached at the hip. It feels great to be so loved :)

Noah loves his baby play saucer and is all hands grabbing at everything! Better have those nails trimmed otherwise he literally takes your flesh off because he pinches and scratches so hard!
We can't imagine life without him, I'm enjoying every minute of him.

Halloween recap!

How in the world am I going to keep myself from eating all this candy that is in our home! Yikes!
We had a fun HALLOWEEN this year. Our night started at the church's Trunk or Treat, then we headed to the neighborhood for traditional trick or treating. Here are the kids from oldest to youngest...

Cawabunga dude!

Kate the witch! I just LOVE her witch shoes :)

My little Monkey...

My little sweet Pea Noah

His very first Halloween. He was a trooper staying out late!

Here is Mack's preschool class. Aren't they the cutest! I LOVE this age!

Football Time

Trevor and Ethan are in their second month of football so I thought I would document how it's going. This has been such a fun season! We had a great time on Saturday at the games.
The boys games were back to back and it was an added bonus that they got to play on the big field.
Trevor plays quarterback. He is so much fun to watch. He scored a touchdown and threw two complete passes!
Ethan scored TWO touchdowns and plays tight end. He also caught two passes.
I'm so proud of my boys!! It's exciting for me to learn more about sports. (I have a lot to learn:)
Isn't this an awesome field!

I snuck a picture of Trevor walking down to the field.

Lucky number 10!

Mr. Coach Thompson!! And my star football player Ethan.

Sweet baby Noah, future football player I'm sure of that!
Here is what Kate and Mack love about football games...

in other news...we had a garage sell on Saturday. Waking up at 6:00am isn't fun for me but decided to go for it. We even made $200 bucks :) I have done garage sells before and know that you have to sell things for .50 cents so that's about what I sold everything for! We had a few larger items that sold for more but mostly sold things for a great bargain. It felt good to give it away. Once it was over Todd loaded up the truck and took everything else to DI.
It amazes me how much "stuff" we still have, but I don't think I will be doing a garage sell again:)

36 years old today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODD!!!
Todd and his Mom share the same birthday. How fun is that! Having a baby born on your birthday...I can't think of a better birthday gift. We had a great time celebrating today!

There are 19 grandchildren on the Thompson side! All of them are boys except for 4 girls!! Heres a shot of some of them.

Every Sunday at Grandma's you will often find all the men watching a game on the big screen TV, rocking the babies.

My in laws live on 5 acres. The kids absolutely love it at their house running around and getting dirty. Their dog sissy just had puppies so all the kids are in heaven, isn't he cute!

We had a BALL at Nate's first birthday!

Last week we were able to attend my nephews first birthday party. It was "ball" themed. My SIL Taryn is so creative and did so many cute things, from the invitations, to the decorations, food, hand outs...it was so cute! In fact I loved it so much that I'm stealing her idea for Noah's birthday when he turns one.

Here is Noah at 5 months old. I love that he has hair, it's fun to spike it up. (Since I can't do curls and bows...this is the next best thing :)

Here is the birthday boy Nate. Isn't he the cutest little boy! He had a full audience watching him eat his cake. I don't think he knew what to think with all of us watching him.

I thought this picture was cute of Noah...

Here is a recent picture of Rambis (yes that would be after Kurt Rambis for all you Laker fans out there:) He just got his bath so I was giving him some extra attention. I'm not fond of "smelly dog" but when he's clean I can stand to give him loves.
He has been a pretty good dog except for the fact that Kate refuses to go outside. Although Rambis's chewing days are over (mostly) he's getting better...she still is deathly afraid of him. This makes it hard because Mack and Kate used to play outside all the time and now that Kate won't go outside, Mack won't either. We need to get some sort of cage for him...SOON!

Here is a picture of Trevor with his Mohawk. K, let me explain......It was late Thursday night and Todd was getting ready to give him a fresh buzz, his old one had grown out...well Trevor asked Todd if he could have a Mohawk for his football game that coming Saturday and Todd agreed. He promised me that it would be cut Saturday night before church.
Only problem is Saturday was SUPER busy and that hair cut never happened...hopefully that will get done tonight heehee

Catch-up post!

Kate celebrated her 6th birthday last Friday. She invited 12 of her friends over for a Hannah Montana party. She had a great time! All the girls were so cute and so well behaved. They played hot potato (but with a micro phone) sang and danced to a Hannah Montana dance video, played outside, and ate pizza and cupcakes.
I can't believe my little girl is 6! This age is so much fun. She is my little buddy. We love to shop together, do hair and make up, she is a mommy in the making with little Noah, and is such a sweet girl. She has lots of friends, and always includes Mack. She loves to sleep! (I wonder where she gets that one...um that would be me :). When she's tired she just goes to bed (must be nice)...the other kids we have to make them go to bed :). She is a healthy eater (I really wonder where she gets that...um NOT me :) HA! She loves to eat fruit and vegetables. Of course she's like every kid and loves candy too!
She loves all her cousins and can't get enough of Grandpa Thompson. Even though she is 6 now, she still loves for him to carry her around. You can always find her on his lap at church every Sunday or on his shoulders whenever he's around.

Here are all the girls eating pizza... Kate's favorite!

Here she is blowing out her candles...

Mack started preschool last week and loves it! It's two days a week at my SIL's house. She has been teaching preschool for years, she's the best. Ethan and Kate both went there. Now it's Mack's turn and it's been so great. He gets to go with his cousins Bryce and Drew and lots of friends from church. We were on her waiting list and got lucky enough to get in because someone dropped out a few days before school started.

All the kids are doing well adjusting to their life back at school. Trevor has had a ton of homework but he does a good job of getting it all done on his own, I'm grateful for that day to finally be here:)
The boys had their first football game last Saturday, both scoring touchdowns for their teams, it was exciting and they were so happy!
