I figure everyone is sick of hearing about my usual routine of laundry, cleaning, taking care of the family, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new baby! Am I right??? Not much is new around here. I could end this post right now:) HA!
Last week we were able to attend the scout blue and gold dinner. The boys are suppose to make a cake and decorate it...we ran out of time so I ended up doing it for Ethan. When we got there he asked me if front everyone which cake was his, which totally blew our cover! So funny!
I was also able to attend a friends baby shower that I grew up with last Saturday. She is one of 10 kids and delivered her sweet baby girl at 28 weeks. The baby is doing well and gets to come home soon. She weiged 1.5 pounds at birth but now weighs around 4.5 pounds. Her and her family are the funniest people I know and sure know how to throw a party. There was such great food, and we played some really fun games too. Kate came with me and so after we went shopping! It's fun to have a shopping buddy and spend the day together!
This week has been good! I'm happy to report that I am on page 126 of the Book of Mormon. I took up the Pres. Hinkley Challenge to finish it in 97 days. I'm only bringing this up because I am 32 years old and have NEVER read the B of M all the way through! I am also working on getting my Young Woman in Excellence award (since I never did as a teenager) and reading the B of M is one of my 10 hour projects. I'm trying to finish up before the baby comes. Wish me luck :)
I'm looking forward to this weekend! My two sisters are coming down from AZ and all of us girls are getting together on Saturday to shop, eat, and spend the day together. It will be a fun sister day, along with our good friend Erin (who is like one of our sisters).
Then on Sunday we are getting together to celebrate Easter a little early (since they are down). My Mom is making her homemade enchiladas, and then we will have our Easter egg hunt. It's fun for all ages because she puts money in the eggs. She donates $100 dollars to the hunt by putting a couple $20's, a few $10's, etc. It's so much fun!
I found an old friend from High school through the blogging world. She is such a good writer and has a really funny blog. She announced that she will be on Supernanny this Wed. (March 5) so everyone watch it if you can!!

Is it really Tuesday already??
My doctor appointmet went well last week. He basically said that they have gotten a lot more strict when it comes to delivering naturally after you have had a c-section but as long as my cervix was sofened somewhat then that would be good enough. It's when you are completely not at all in any kind of labor and two weeks late that they won't induce. He was really optimistic and seemed to not be worried. With this being my 5th I'm hopeful that my body will know what to do and do it on it's own :) So we will have to wait and see.
Tonight was mutual, we had our class activity. I seriously thought of the activity this afternoon. I just didn't know what we were going to do? I had the idea ( I wonder why) of inviting my friend over with her 4 month old to talk with the girls about the basics of taking care of a baby. We all sat on the floor with the baby in the middle and discussed babies! They each got to hold him and ask questions, I hope they had a good time? For dessert we had donuts and milk then the girls played in the backyard while they waited for their parents to come.
I think I have figured out my laundry problem. If I just do a little everyday it's always done! (gee really)?!?!?Who would have thought... hahaha anyway...I'm feeling good because the house is clean and the laundry is all done. I have started going through closets and drawers. (Melissa, I have more clothes for Bridgette :)!
I am in the process of looking online for a car seat, changing table (I have a crib) and just getting all the things I need for the new baby (yes still NO name). It's hard to believe I only have 6 more weeks! I'm so excited! I have to admit, this has been such an amazing pregnancy. I really have loved it (did I really just say that)??? minus the beginning...I don't know if it's because this "may" be my last and I'm trying to enjoy every last moment...but it's been great!
by the way...my spell check doesn't work, so all of you now know what a horrible speller I am :-)

Stayin home today
Today has been a stay at home day. Mack came down a touch of the runs yesterday. (sorry if that was too much info:) poor guy! He is doing so much better today.
I have been able to accomplish a lot today. The house is all clean, the laundry is "almost" done even my bedroom sheets got washed. I LOVE that! I could go to the next step and start organizing closets and drawers but the computer was calling my name!
Ethan has a Science Project due tomorrow.. UGH! He also has basketball practice and I have Mutual tonight... busy busy! Trevor has scouts also ( oh I just remembered that).
I have a prenatal appointment tomorrow. I have it schedueld with the Doctor this time(I usually see a midwife) we are discussing labor plans. I guess their new policy is if you have had a c-section (I had one with my first ...11 years ago). They are telling me that If i don't go into labor on my own, they will schedule me a c-section. They won't induce me. What the heck?!?!? I have always needed to be induced, I have never gone on my own. SO, I am a little anxious and nervous for tomorrows discussion with the doctor. The thing about Kaiser (my insurance) is who ever is on call is who delivers the baby and makes all the decisions, so no matter what i talk about with this doctor it really is up to the doctor on call...hope that makes sense? So lets all pray that I go into labor on my own this time around. Can you imagine having major surgury and being sent home to take care of 5 kids... From my experience with my C-section, is was the WORST!!! especially compared to all my other labors.

32 weeks down..8 more to go!

It's been awhile since I posted. I need to be better about keeping a journal of my daily happenings.
Today Kate got to go to Disneyland. Her pass expires tomorrow (mine expired back in August) so when I found out my SIL was going I asked if she could take Kate. How nice is that! She got one more use out of it. It will probably be awhile before we get passes again with the new baby coming and all.
Mack and I went to my Cousins house today so she could take some photos of us. Mack hasn't gotten his picture taken in a long time and I have never had pictures taken while I was pregnant (I was never brave enough:). I can't wait to get them back, i will post them when I do.
The two older boys are doing well! This is such a busy time of year for them, basketball is ending soon and baseball has already started. Trevor will be playing in two different leagues (pony league and little league) and Ethan will be playing little league. Can you say crazy busy...there will be tons of practices and games between the two. On top of that they have scouts and homework. Thankfully Todd helps out A LOT. He knows I can't (ok I won't) do it all :) besides he is the one who signs them up for all this sports stuff. I grew up with a bunch of girls so I'm not used to all the sports...I'm learning quicky though...Once the baby comes he is on his own :)
I hybernate for at least 2 months after I have a baby (hahaha)
Last night was my wards Young Woman's New Beginnings. It was a really great night and the program turned out so nice! It's been really fun serving in Young Woman's. I really love all my girls!
