Big Creek!

The creek is closed for fishing starting today. There are a ton of salmon in the creek so we took the boys to the hatchery this afternoon. There weren't any fish in the hatchery just yet but we got to see a lot in the creek right below the hatchery. And of course Mason got his fill of throwing rocks! This was Miller's first (of many I'm sure...) trips to Big Creek!

Grandpa's Bear!

Grandpa Roger shot a black bear last night! Daddy had just got home for work and of course had to go out and help Grandpa and Uncle Beve as soon as he got the call! The boys and I went over and checked out the bear too. Mason was a little nervous at first but then wanted to dig in and help cut the bear up. We gave him a butter knife to help ;)

Pool Time Fun!

We are running out of nice days...soon the rain will start! So we braved the closest outdoor pool and took the boys on a picnic lunch followed by hours of swimming and finally some yummy (messy!) ice cream! We had a great time with Jack, Logan, Kyler and Baby Kaylia! Although Miller and Kaylia slept through most the festivities!

Summer Highlights!

A few highlights from summer, 2012. (We already hit the big ones, Miller's birth, Bostyn's birth, Beve's Wedding...these are just a few more!)

Lots of Daddy time! He was home for 7 weeks...And we loved every minute of it!

We also had a blast at Knappa Days! And have had lots of fun play dates with Jack, Logan and Kyler! And now Baby Kaylia. Mom has been busy with two and hasn't been the best at taking pictures while Dad's been gone!

We are super excited for Daddy to get home and are looking forward to FALL! Our good friends, The Timmerman's are moving home...YAY! And of course, there is the football games, fall decorations and yummy desserts, hunting season (for Dad!), trip to Burns to visit family! Pumpkin patch and Halloween fun! OH I CAN'T WAIT! We had a great summer but it sure flew by...still can't believe it will be September this weekend!
