This year Becca started taking a toddler class once a week. She gets to go with her friend Mollie and Becca gets so excited to see Mollie on their school days. So, I know it isn't really "school", but I was excited to take the first day photos anyways.



Becca was so excited to wear her backpack and go to school. She gets to play and play and play, and then have snacks. What could be better.



This is Becca's teacher, Miss Carla. The first day was a little rough but after class she kept talking about school and Miss Carla, so I think this is a good sign.

For Becca's birthday, Grandma JJ gave Becca her first set of cowgirl boots. Becca loves them. This Sunday she begged and begged to wear them to church. Good thing I had a dress that matched.

A few months ago Jared found out he was approved to co-brand his Jordan Landing store to sell both Cold Stone ice cream and also Rocky Mountain Chocolates. AWESOME!! This last week Becca and I got to go on a road trip with him to his training. All day Becca and I would play and shop with he had to learn the ropes for selling chocolate. While we were there, they gave us a tour of their production facility. I can't believe how much chocolate and nuts and butter there was. Kind of thought I died and went to heaven.

This year, both our stake and our parent's stake were in charge of creating floats for the 24th of July parade. the week before the parade, they displayed all the floats in the Expo Center. It was really fun to see all the creativity there is and definite hard work that goes into every float. Here is the float from our parent's stake. My parents were in charge of making all the flowers.

Becca wasn't too sure of the clowns but loved her bear holding a heart.

We had so much fun in Park City with the Wright's so we decided to take off the next weekend and head down to Vegas, without the kids. It did not take us long to figure out that we weren't the young kids that use to stay up late anymore. Of course we had a blast and can't wait to do it again. Too bad I couldn't get my camera to work so I really don't have any pictures. Guess that's just another excuse to do it again!

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend. We went with the Wright's to Park City and stayed at the Sun Dial Lodge. We had fun swimming...

Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy in the world!!

Grandma Pattie and I took Becca and Bear to this Dolly and Me Tea Time at Gardner Village. We had a total blast!




We were given these darling hats to wear, yummy treats to eat, and a real tea set to drink from. Bear even got her own treat and cup. Becca loved giving Bear a drink.



We had such a fun time and Becca loved being a total princess.

I have decided that this year I am going to get out and do more fun things with Becca and Jared. This week when the mail came, I opened up the Guide and found out the Library was doing a summer reading kickoff at Wheeler Farm. With Wheeler Farm being so close, we packed up our stroller, invited the Seal's to join us, and headed out. Becca and Tuscanee loved running around on the grass, feeding the ducks and visiting with all the animals. I was a great way to spend the evening. On the way home, Becca and Tuscanee held hands the whole way. So cute!

Today was our 8th Anniversry. I know everyone says this (and it was probably on my last anniversary post too) but time sure flies when you are having fun!! I am so grateful for my eternal companion. I really can't imagine life without you by my side. I love you!!
