Happy Trails!

Since the weather was so nice, we went for a walk on Thursday and Friday. Conner loved it and slept the whole time.

Lucia and Julio came by for a visit on Friday. Conner was on his best behavior!

"Dad, I don't care about the basketball scores. Just give me my bottle!"

I've been a little slow with the posting lately. Allison came by for a visit last week. In these pictures you can see that he has lost all of the hair on the top of his head and is copying Luke with the Friar Tuck look. We can't wait for the boys to meet for a play date when Conner can be around other kids - hopefully within the next 2 weeks!

We went to Cuero this last weekend for Missy and Robert's wedding. Conner was able to spend some time with his grandparents, Aunt Kelli and Aunt Kassie. Granny babysat so that Wes and I could attend the wedding and reception - what a great time we had!! We look forward to future visits. Hopefully next time we are in Cuero, Conner will get to spend some time with his cousins and meet other friends and family.

Look At Me Now!

Granny, Aunt Kassie and James came to see me this weekend. They played with me while mom and dad went to my baptism class. I've made some progress and I'm starting to coo. Also my hair is falling out and I'm becoming bald on top...

2-Month Birthday

8 Weeks Old and a Dr. Appointment

Conner was 8 weeks old yesterday, which meant a trip to the doctor for shots. Poor thing, he got three shots in one leg, two shots in the other leg, and an oral vaccine. He definitely did not like the shots, but he only cried while the nurse was giving them to him. They did not seem to bother him once we brought him home, and he was very good today. Conner weighed 9 lbs 10 oz and was 22 inches long. His weight and height put him in the 10th and 25th percentile, respectively, for full term babies born at the same time. My actual due day was 2 days ago, January 4th. Compared with full term babies born on my due date, he would have been in the 70 - 95th percentile. Not surprising at all that he would have been a big baby!

Conner had some visitors this last weekend. Granny, Nene, and the Grandpas came to spend some time with Conner. He thoroughly enjoyed all of the loving and holding and was sad to see them go. Tracey also stopped by to check out Conner and was surprised at his size. He is a growing boy! We go back to the doctor this Friday, so we'll have an update on his weight and length after that visit.
