My New Buddy

"Today I stayed with Mimi so that Mom and Dad could go to work. I had so much fun and got to play with my new buddy Luke. Thank you Mimi for keeping me! I can't wait to get together again!"

Also, thanks to Mimi for taking these pictures! Isn't Luke so sweet and adorable!!!

What a Sweet Boy!

Conner was such a sweet boy today that Wes couldn't help but brag on him. He was in Wes' care for most of the day. Wes had to take care of him during the last half of church since I had to leave to join my RCIA class and then was again on his own during an afternoon mass that I had to attend for my RCIA class. Conner pretty much slept the entire time. Wes was so nervous that he was going to scream out during church, especially when he took him up for communion. Conner was not in the least bit phased though and made it through the day like a champ!

Off to church we go. Conner was especially holy today after attending two masses!

An Afternoon with the Ladies

Our friends, Tracey, Aunt Abril and Kristy stopped by on Saturday for a visit. Conner love the visit and showed the girls his adorable smile and how he likes to play on his activity mat.

Conner was so comfy with Kristy he wanted to keep snooz'in.

Aunt Abril braved the bottle feeding and did such a good job of feeding and burping him, she looked like a pro!

Conner got a little warm and showed Tracey some skin.

An afternoon out on the town!

This afternoon we took a trip to Oyster Creek Park, the Sugarland Town Square, a few stores, and ended with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Thanks to Matt and Tracey for Conner's warm winter outfit!

Out and About

Yesterday, we had lunch with Julie, my RCIA sponsor. As usual, Conner slept from the time we left the house until we returned home. I kept him all bundled up because it was a little chilly outside.

Conner really likes his play mat. He plays with the hanging toys and has started to grab at them. He also really likes to look at himself in the mirror. He will lay on that mat for an hour and just kick, smile and coo.

I Am 3 Months Old!

Conner was 3 months old on Saturday! We can't believe that three months have gone by since his birth! We love him so much!!! His progress has been amazing and he continues to grow. Conner has started to smile a lot more and is developing a personality. He still sleeps a lot, which has made him a great traveler. Everytime we put him in his carrier, he falls asleep. He slept during a visit to my office, as well as my eye doctor appointment this morning. We've tried to capture pictures of his smiles, but haven't been very successful. Here are two of the best...

Conner meets some future playmates

Joe Bob, Kelly and Carlie stopped by before the Super Bowl to meet Conner. Carlie was so sweet - she wanted to give Conner some hugs, but settled for me instead.

Bed Switch

Last night Conner slept in his crib upstairs for the first time. He had been sleeping in a cradle by our bed since we brought him home from the hospital. I don't think he even noticed the difference. I don't want to jinx us, but Conner has slept until 3:00 - 3:30 the last two nights. I'm praying that we are getting close to sleeping through the night, but I just might be getting my hopes up.

Conner had several visitors this week. Nene and Great Aunts Carolyn and Bonka stopped by for a visit on Monday and the Hartman family dropped in Friday morning. He thoroughly enjoyed the company, which broke up the monotony of having to stay indoors given the nasty weather.
