Spending Time with Friends

Wes was out of town this last weekend, so Conner and I went to visit some friends. We had lunch with Mary and William and then stopped by April's house for a visit.

April is such a great baby sitter! Conner had quite a bit to say while we were at April's house. He has become very vocal and talkative in the last week.

Then Christie and Cameron came by for a visit on Sunday.

Conner is tickling Cameron's toes.

Smile for the camera!

Ready for the Game!

Daddy's a dangerous shopper! He's already bought me two Astros outfits. Here I am sporting my Astros cap before bedtime.

I also have two Rice outfits. The baseball uniform is a lot cuter, but still a little big.

Buenger Zoo

Granny and Grandpa Buenger trapped this raccoon. He was not very happy to be in this cage. They brought it up to the house because Abby said she had never seen a 'coon.

Abby didn't want to get too close to that hissing 'coon.

Granny and Grandpa's baby miniature donkey (in the middle) is getting big fast!

Hello Again!

Sorry my mommy hasn't posted any pictures of me in while. She's been just a little bit busy. I'm battling my first cold that I've had for about 2.5 weeks. I've been to the doctor twice and she says I just have to ride it out. It will be great to breathe normal again! Last weekend we went to Cuero so that mommy could attend Mendy's wedding shower and I was able to visit with both sets of grandparents.

1st Day of School

Conner started "school" today. The grandma care ended last week and Conner started day care at a Montessori school right down the street. It is across the street from the elementary school that he will be able to walk to once he is old enough. When we told him goodbye this morning he just looked at us as if saying, "Where are you going?" The ladies said he did great and you never would have known it was his first day. The best part about him being in daycare is that we can watch him anytime we want with a camera on the internet.

Go Jimmie!!!!

Wes said, "You might be a redneck if... you are watching NASCAR with your dad and your belly is hanging out of your t-shirt."

Family Photo Op

We posed for a family photo this last weekend at Kevin and Kathleen's wedding. Wes was an usher in the wedding. Conner had fever Friday evening and part of Saturday from his shots, but was so well behaved over the entire weekend. He was excited to finally meet some more Cuero friends. We hurried back to Sugarland Sunday morning - I am officially a member of the Catholic church! I have been going to class almost every weekend since last August. I have a few more to attend, but officially my RCIA classes are done!

4-Month Check-up

Conner went to the doctor last Friday for his 4-month check-up (even though he's 4.5 months old) and for shots. The doctor was so impressed with his progress! She couldn't believe how big he was and said he didn't even look like the same baby. He weighed 15 lbs 2 oz, and was 25 inches long. He went from the 10th to the 60th percentile in weight and from the 25th to the 50th percentile in heighth. He is catching up fast! Posted by Picasa
