On Saturday, we went to the Rice - UH game and watched the Owls kick their rear end! Way to go Owls! We saw lots of friends and were really excited to see Ben and Ashley and meet Baby Easton. Momma didn't think to get a picture, but he is super cute!


Every time we go to a Rice game I like to run up the hill and touch the Big Owl.

Our school was closed last Wednesday so Mommy and Daddy took us to the zoo. The weather was awesome - it was a beautiful day to be outside!

We saw lots of animals, including the giraffes.

Last weekend we celebrated my 2nd birthday party with family and friends. We had so much fun playing together, and to top it all off - Mickey showed up!

Happy Birthday to me!

Me and Mickey

I am two years old today! Momma and Daddy can't believe how far I've come - from being two months early and such a teeny tiny baby to a big, healthy two year old boy! My two year doctor appointment just happened to coincide with my birthday. The doctor confirmed what Momma and Daddy had sort of already assumed - I'm going to be a big boy! I weighed 30 lbs 11 oz (80%) and was 36 1/2 inches tall (90 - 95%). My vocabulary is just exploding - I have said words and put together phrases that Momma and Daddy didn't even know I could comprehend. I am super energetic, but over all a pretty well behaved little boy. I love my little sister and share pretty much everything with her. I'm also very patient with her and let her pull on my hair and climb all over me. Right now my favorite thing to watch is Mickey Mouse, but have gotten into the other Disney characters, such as Handy Manny and Little Einsteins. We went to Incredible Pizza this evening to celebrate my birthday and have some fun.

Momma forgot to pull out the hats when we were singing, but better late than never! I just happen to love hats and left mine on while we were eating cupcakes.

We went home to Cuero this last weekend for Kyler's baptism - Momma was one of his sponsor's. As usual, we had a great time visiting with family.
