The Kubesch Family

Daddy went on his annu-owl trip last week/weekend, so Momma took us for a quick trip to Cuero. We were able to spend some time with Kyler and had lots of fun playing with Granny and Grandpa. Somehow, Granny managed to pull all three of us in the wagon - we are getting kind of heavy!

Well, we needed rain, and rain we got! This is the first time it has rained like this in the three years we have lived in Sienna, and the drainage system was definitely tested. We don't know how much rain we actually received because the rain guage overflowed. The water rose to the levels shown below and then after about two hours started to recede. The base of the tree that is under water is in our yard between the street and the sidewalk. The creek beside our house was almost dry, but is now full again.

We had a very busy but funfilled Easter weekend and were excited to spend time with family and friends! We started off by driving to Nene and Grandpa Kubesch's house on Friday and then having a fish fry at Uncle Mike and Aunt Carolyn's.

On Saturday we celebrated Easter and Grandpa's birthday with the Buenger family. We were so excited to see our aunts, uncles and cousins!

The Easter Bunny came!

On Sunday, we attended the Kubesch Family Easter gathering at Uncle Bill and Aunt Lillian's house. Their egg hunt was so big that we had to dump baskets into trash bags!

When we returned home on Sunday, we had a party and egg hunt with our neighbors in the cul de sac. Cameron came back to Houston with us and joined in the party. Wes forgot to take the camera with him, but he took Cameron to NASA on Monday.

Today, we went to William's super cool birthday party at a firehouse.


I got to climb up in the firetruck and have a seat.

They pulled the firetruck out and turned on the sirens. We got really excited about this.

Then I got to take a swing at the firetruck pinata. That was one tough pinata!

This last weekend we went to our school's spring festival. They had food, games, moonwalks, and a fun run.

The bouncy was so much fun! Can you tell we enjoyed it?

We also had a great time at Jackson's birthday party last weekend. They have a bouncy and lots of cool toys to play with.
