Cameron and Maddie's Birthday Party

Two weekends ago, we went to help celebrate Cameron's 3rd and Maddie's 2nd birthday. We had a great time at the pink and blue themed party. We walked out the door and Conner said, "That was fun!"

The awesome tractor cake!

I did not take Caroline's swim suit, so she was not supposed to play in the pool, but in true Caroline fashion, she did anyway.

Labor Day Fun

On Labor Day we went to Julie and Chris's house for some burgers, playtime and adult conversation. We had so much fun and were glad we did not have to cook after returning home from Paris!

Trip to Paris!

After working for BNP Paribas for almost six years, I made my first trip to Paris several weeks ago. I was there to attend some training related to my new position. The BNPP training center is in Louveciennes, a quaint little town about 30 minutes outside of Paris. I was busy with work stuff from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, however, after my work was done, Wes joined me in Paris for a little vacation. We had a great time - thanks to the grandparents for keeping Conner and Caroline!! Paris was so beautiful and unlike anything we have seen. I have attempted to narrow down 350 pictures to just a few, so these are the highlights of the highlights. The pictures really do not do it justice, so you really must see it for yourself!!

Relic of the cross inside the clear tube - can barely see in this picture. See me in the mirror taking a picture.

Napoleon's Tomb

Basilique Du Sacre Coeur - Of all the churches we saw, we thought this was the most beautiful. It is on top of Monmartre hill. However, it is a church of perpetual prayer, so no pictures were allowed inside.
