After Turkeyfest, Conner took Kyler for a spin in Granny and Grandpa's newest toy.

On Sunday, we met Nene and Grandpa at Uncle Bill's so that we could celebrate Grandpa's birthday and Daddy and Grandpa could get their deer stands ready. While they were busy we had lots of fun playing in the sand with Nene. Nene was so nice she made this sand village for Caroline. Conner named the village Carolina.

Conner figured out how to use the sand to make the football stand up and worked on his kicking.

Turkefest 2010

Last weekend, we made the trip down south to Cuero for Turkeyfest. They kids enjoyed seeing family and friends and of course, loved the festival. We watched the parade, went to the carnival, and then Wes and I went back up there in the evening to see Robert Earl Keen.

Caroline wasn't too sure the first time around...

... but then she was loving it and had to ride three times!

Baseball or Football?

Here is a video of a few seconds from Conner's first game. The kids forgot for a minute they were playing baseball and not football. It made for an entertaining game!

Play Ball!

Conner has started playing in Sienna's Fall T-ball league, which is non-competitive. All of the teams are named after colleges and Conner's team is the South Carolina Gamecocks. Wes has offered to help out as an assistant coach and I am the team mom. Conner is having a blast playing with the other kids and is even on the same team as our friend and neighbor, Grayson. Caroline thinks she needs to be right there in the middle of everything, so I am trying to keep her entertained as a cheerleader while the older kids play and learn about the game. She has been practicing her hitting at home and is quite a little hitter herself. Below are some pictures from Conner's first game on Friday. Caroline insisted on being in the picture below and would not let them take a picture without her. By the way, that is not what she was wearing and not the way her hair was fixed when I took her to school. However, that is what she looked like when I got home from work.
