Easter Egg Hunt at the Rebert's
1st Camping Trip
They 2nd weekend in April we went on our first camping trip with the Byman Family, Audra and Tim. The kids had a blast and we are likely going to do it again (especially since we invested in a tent and all the other materials). The kids said their favorite activities were sleeping in the tent and playing with Luke and Davis. They also caught lots of bugs, roasted marshmallows, rode bikes, and went hiking, swimming and fishing.

The fish were tiny, but there were lots and they were easy to catch.

Nashville, TN
At the end of March/early April, Wes and I took a trip with my parents to Nashville. We had a great time in the hometown of Country Music. We went into pretty much every bar and music venue on music row, toured the Jack Daniels distillery, visited Kix Brooks' winery, toured the Grand Ole Opry, saw a show at both the Ryman and Grand Ole Opry and saw a show at the Bluebird Cafe. In my opinion, The Bluebird Cafe was the highlight of the trip. After waiting in line for a few hours to get in, we were blown away by the show, which was four songwriters and an instrumentalist in the middle of a very tiny room (about the size of my living room and kitchen put together) singing the songs they wrote. They were all very famous songwriters and we knew all of the songs. Very, very neat if you every make a trip to Nashville!
