Conner and Caroline have been begging to see snow for the last two years. They saw snow three times one winter because of some crazy weather we had here in Texas, and unfortunately, thought that was normal. We were not sure if we were crazy or not at the time, but Wes and I decided at the last minute to drive to New Mexico on New Year's Eve for a little ski trip with the kids. Of course, Catherine came with us too, even though she was just a few weeks old. Wes said this would either be really great or a complete disaster. Fortunately for us, it turned out to be a fabulous trip. The kids did great on the drive there and back and had a blast playing in the snow. We knew they would love tubing and sledding, but were pretty surprised by the fact that they enjoyed skiing as well. Conner was really good at it, but I put down the video camera at the wrong times and missed taping all of his good skiing moments. He was upset that he did not get to go to the top of the mountain and ski down. He was quite the little dare devil. All of the pictures are out of order, but you can see, we had lots of fun.
