Complete

Well my goal timeline was officially up on Dec. 10th and I completed 63 out of the 101 goals.

I am proud of the ones I accomplished, however, it’s pretty lame I only accomplished 63!

Really! I thought I would do better than that?!

I have ones left on my list that are super easy to complete too, I just think I let time slip away from me in the end.

I am still going to keep this list and blog going and continue to cross them off as I complete them because there are ones that I think are important to finish.

Thanks for following along with me on my 101 goal journey!

98. Use my passport

I had to use my passport when we were on our cruise so I am officially crossing this off my list.

When I made this goal I think I was dreaming of using it somewhere abroad, but this will do for now.

45. Go horseback riding

Unfortunately I didn’t get to accomplish this even though it was something that we had planned on our cruise.

We had booked an excursion to go horseback riding on the beach/in the ocean at one of our stops, but due to the cruise ship having to stop and look for a missing passenger we ended up missing this port completely.

It was a bummer all the way around.

I didn’t think this would be such a hard goal to accomplish since both Jared and I like horseback riding and use to go a lot when we were younger, but it proved harder than I thought.

Hopefully we will do this sooner than later.

27. Try a new type of ethnic food

While on our cruise we made a stop in Puerto Rico where we went on a restaurant tour.

We tried lots of different foods including a dish called Mofongo.

It was delicious and something that I would definitely have again given the chance.

11. Throw a costume Halloween party

Final accomplished this goal this year.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time, and it was lots of fun.

Definitely something that I will keep doing.

86. Find out more about my ancestors

My Grandma and her sister put together this awesome website that included their history and stories from their parent’s lives.

It was amazing to read it and it gives me so much more admiration for my Grandma and the life that she has lead.

So thankful that they took the time to put the genealogy record together.

It connected me to my ancestors just like I wanted it to.

My Great grandma Helen.

38. Travel by train

This wasn’t exactly what I had in mind when I said travel by train, however this is as close as I think I am going to come.

We took Luke twice to ride the train out in Boulder City.

We didn’t make it very far, but I have officially rode on a train.

16. Visit a new state

Last month I was able to go and visit my sister in Pennsylvania.

I have never been out that way so I was super excited.

She showed us all around Amish country which I was so intrigued by.

Pennsylvania is super green and pretty and I loved being to see it with my sisters.

We took Luke to see Puss N Boots around the first part of May.

It was perfect weather.

The District has a free outdoor movie every Friday and Saturday.

I am sure we will be going again this summer.
