Happy Baby

What a happy baby! Addie has been so happy the last couple days. I think it's becuase she is trying to be good so Santa will bring her lots of presents! Today we took Addie to the doctor for her 2 month appointment. She weighed a whopping 10 pounds and she was 22 1/4 inches long. She is getting so big! She also had to get shots. Five of them to be exact, and I was the one who gave them to her. She was really sad but is now back to her happy self.

Pretty Good Lookin Group Of Friends!

On Sunday we had our 2nd anual Christmas party. This particular groups of friends not only has a Christmas party once a year, but gets together every holiday, every time one of us has a birthday, or even just for fun! That is of course on top of softball that the boys play all through the summer! All the boys are friends from highschool, and us wives and girlfriends have become really good friends. This group has fun no matter where we go or what we do! We are blessed with such great friends!

Our Little Tree

This is the first year we put up a Christmas tree. We only need a little tree for our little family. It is so funny to see Addie look at the lights because her eyes get so big when she looks at them.

Just Hanging Out

Hanging out at my parent's house is one of our favorite things to do. We are enjoying the newley remodeled basement, it's so cozy! Even Addie likes the new comfy couch!

Sleep Time

Little Addie loves to sleep, other than today that is! She will take a little 20 minute nap and then be awake again and want me to hold her. She is spoiled already! As for me and my sleep, I have been pretty tired lately, Addie still wakes up a couple times at night. She is getting better though. I talked to my nurse manager from work today and we decided that I am going back to work January 7th. I'm pretty sad about it. Being home has been so great, it's going to be pretty hard to leave Addie and go back to work. My cute mom has offered to tend Addie while I'm at work so that will be really great. I can go see Addie on my lunch break, which is really nice because my mom lives so close to where I work. As for Kyle, he just works and works! He is such a great dad! Addie smiles everytime he looks at her.

Baby Addisyn

Addisyn Mendoza was born Thursday October 23, 2008 at 12:27 pm. We knew right away that she was a good baby after she got poked by the nurse and didn't even cry. She got lots of visitors at the hospital and also at home. Everyone was so happy that she was finely here! This is Addie on Halloween, one week old.

She is now six weeks old and getting very big! She is smiling and cooing a lot! It's so fun to see how much she changes in just a few days. Kyle had his Christmas work party a couple days ago and Addie got to go. This is her new Christmas outfit.
