We went to the doctor's office last week.  I was asleep the whole way there.  When we got back to the room, I heard Kamryn start to whimper a bit.  I wasn't sure why.  Then Mommy got me out of the carseat, undressed me and changed my diaper.  Then another lady came in and I heard Kamryn whimper more.  I heard Mommy tell her, "It's okay.  She's not here to see you.  She's here for Kyler".  I had no idea what was coming.  They laid me on the scale and then the table.  She put a weird tape around my head--I cringed.  But then she took it off.  Then they hooked a machine onto my hand.  Kamryn was crying--but I didn't know why.  I liked being held by mom, looking at this new person, and the thing on my hand didn't hurt.  I barely noticed it! :)

Then we waited for a while and then the doctor came in.  Kamryn was really nervous around him.  But Mommy kept telling her, "He's here to see Kyler".  He looked in my eyes with a bright light.  He put something in my ears and had to hold my head straight--I did NOT like that.  I don't like things touching my head. He stuck something down in my throat--I gagged but I didn't cry.

Then he left and the first lady came back in.  Mommy laid me down on the table again and the lady held onto my legs tight.  then I got poked...one on each leg!  I was so mad!  My face was almost purple.  But soon enough I was back in Mommy's arms and we got to go home! (And I got to eat!  I was starving by the end!) :)  The rest of the day I was pretty sleepy.  Guess it must've been from those pokes.

Height: almost 24 in (percentile dropped quite a bit...but it was correct.  Poor kid--he's got the short genes!)

Fun pictures recently:

I celebrated my 3 month "birthday" at Disneyland last week!  It was very fun -- but I'm still too little to really know what in the world is going on.  All I know is it was VERY warm and I enjoyed my stroller a lot of the time.

Today Mommy took me to get 3 month old pictures done at Walmart.  (That was where Kamryn got them done as well).  I ate right before we left and I was happy and ready to "pose" when we got there.  But then we had to wait... and wait... and wait.  I fell asleep.  After waiting (and sleeping) for 45 minutes-it was finally our turn.  Mommy woke me up.  There was a crazy nice lady talking to me and making sounds.  She was funny--I smiled pretty good.  But very soon after we started, I got tired of "working" so hard--and I was hungry and tired and just completely off schedule!  I'm supposed to eat after I sleep--not sit and smile and be happy! :) So, Mommy fed me and then sat me down and tried to entertain me again.  I wouldn't have anything of it.  Too much stimulation. 

Mommy put me in my carseat and gave me my binkie and I fell asleep within 5 minutes.  Whew! I was done!

Mommy seems to be excited about the pictures that we got.  I think I heard something about getting a free sheet of 5x7's because we waited for so long and then the session didn't go so well--I was too "off schedule".  Pictures will be ready August 5th! :)

I turned one month old on Friday!  It is amazing how quickly time has passed since I came to this world! 

I enjoy eating and sleeping.  I don't enjoy getting to sleep, however.  I get air in my tummy fairly often--it's rather uncomfortable.  But Mommy helps me get it out.  I enjoy laying on my back on the floor--looking around at everything around me.  sometimes Mommy tries to put me in a seat that swings or a seat that vibrates---but I really don't like either one. 

When I eat--I spit up a lot.  It's been a while since I really "emptied" my stomach completely...but I spit up after every feeding.  I HATE being wiped off!  A cloth wiping against my mouth and neck---it's like they're trying to suffocate me! (not really--but I just don't like the feeling!)

I love my binkie.  It is comforting.  I enjoy being swaddled when I am tired, but when I'm awake and alert--I'd rather be open and blanketless---free to move about!

I am very toned.  I wish I had more control over my body.  I like to hold my head up to look around at everything.  I like tummy time overall--sometimes it's uncomfortable, but really--I like building the control.  I can't wait until I'm not so floppy anymore! (Note from mom: Kamryn was NEVER so toned.  Kyler really does seem anxious all of the time to move as much as possible.  Always arching his back and pushing his legs and arms, grasping my hair and clothes, etc.)
