It pretty much summed up how I felt about my blog. When you are 30+ years old and you don't have kids, you shouldn't have $%&* to talk about, right?
Well, I've had plenty to talk about since then, I just didn't want to... or I wanted to see how many people were sitting in anticipation waiting on my next blog (for two years)... or I was too busy living the life... mostly I was just lazy. <--- we all know this one is the truth.
Well to sum it all up these are just a few highlights I've done in the past two years:
* Got married
* Became a certified diver
* Went on the most fabulous vacation to Isla Mujeres
* Joined the Junior Forum
* Celebrated with my husband on his promotion
* Watched my husband move to Oklahoma for said promotion while I stayed back to try and sell the house
* Still trying to sell the house away from my husband
* Got pregnant right before the process of selling house began
So here is what I've learned. Never say you're bored. Once you do God likes to shake things up.
In case you are on the edge of your seat wondering "did she say pregnant!?" "how could she be so subtle!?"
Yes, yes! We are con bambino! Well bambina to be exact. We are expecting our little girl very early June. Please don't ask for belly pics because I'm officially rocking the beached walrus look (minus the tusks of course).
Here she is!
So this is where I'm going with my blog. Unfortunately this move comes at about the most inconvenient time it could and now I have to have a baby in OU territory (I'm VERY Texas proud) away from all of my family. Come to think about it, I'll also be forced to change the name of my blog! Oh the misery!
WARNING - So for those of you who do not like to see blogs that are all about some broad's kiddos, this blog isn't going to be for you. This blog will become a way for us to share with family and close friends our new family's progress from far away places. But if you're into that sort of thing, feel free to stick around. I won't be working so this thing could really go crazy!
