Remember that one time I had a baby and her life freaking FLEW by?! Sweet P is 5 months old today! 5 MONTHS OLD. I really cant believe it. She is seriously the best baby in the world. I don't know how we got so lucky. At 5 months she:
-jibber jabbers ALL DAY LONG. its the best sound ever and i never want it to stop
-Could roll over if she wants to, gets SO close and is basically on her stomach, but then decides not to care and rolls back to her back. Shes a little lazy and I hope that sticks around. The longer I don't have two mobile kids running around the better.
-Is wearing 0-3 month clothes for the most part. The pants are starting to get a little short though, but weight wise they fit her great.
-Is drinking mostly formula as of this week. And don't ask if weaning from nursing was easy, I'm still sad about it. I never ever thought I would be sad to end that phase, but now I am kicking myself major for doing it.
-Is sleeping through the night, but will wake up a couple times for her pacifier. Goes to bed at 7:15 and wakes up around 7:30-8:00.
-Is made of STONE! That girl will.not.laugh. I've gotten her to giggle ONE time and whenever she wants to laugh she looks like shes gonna explode with energy cause she cant quite figure out how to let it out! Soon it will break, and I cant wait to hear that sweet sound.
-Loves to be swaddled. We let her CIO a few weeks ago without the swaddle, but she naps so much better with it that we decided to let her have it again. Whatever, she will outgrow it eventually.
-Loves her pacifier. Seriously loves it. I hyperventilate if we are out in public and I forget it at home.
-Is so super smiley. And her smile is huge and wide-- I love it so much.
-Blows raspberries with her lips and thinks its the best. Its tough to tell Evalyn to not do that when we encourage Preslie to do it. haha, whoopsie.
-Loves her feet. She found those little gems a few weeks ago and holds them all the time. Cant blame her. I love tiny toes, too.
She is seriously the sweetest thing in the world and I could just squeeze her all day long. We love our Preslie girl. She is such a blessing to our little family. HAPPY 5 MONTH BIRTHDAY LOVEBUG! How on earth will you be a half a year old next month?? Pictures to come soon.
