Sister's Day!

Kylie said she had a wonderful Easter. She and Sister Campbell were able to sing in the choir at church. The best part of her day though was that Ashley AND her parents came to church. Afterwards Ashley's mom invited them to their family's Easter lunch. It rained most of the day so they did an egg hunt inside. Kylie really liked being able to spend time getting to know Ashley and her family better. Kylie didn't write yesterday because they had Sister's Day. All the Sisters in the mission met at the mission home for brunch then went to Garvin Gardens in Hot Springs. They had a lot of fun. The picture above is Kylie with Sister Wall (L) and Sister Page (R). Below is, as Kylie puts it, the G-Town Sisters. From L to R

Seven months already?!?

Kylie just crossed the 7 month mark last week. She says time is really flying by and since she is coming home in February she feels like it's going way too fast. Kylie and Sister Campbell have committed Ashley (the 15 year-old girl that has been coming to church on her own) to baptism on April 18th. Hopefully everything goes according to plan and they can get through all the lessons before then. They already spoke to Ashley's parents about her getting baptized and they are totally ok with it. They are just happy that she is interested in going to church at all, they don't really care which church it is.
Kylie enjoyed going to the church to watch General Conference over the weekend. She said several investigators showed up on Sunday so she was excited about that.
Kylie is in an area that is close to another companionship of Sister Missionaries and they have been doing weekly exchanges. One of the Sisters in the other companionship is the neice of some people in our parents ward. Kylie likes to go on exchanges with Sister Paige. This week she is going with Sister Paige's companion, Sister Laulu from Hawaii. She has only been out for 5 weeks so Kylie is feeling like she gets to help train her and is a little nervous about that. But we all know Kylie is wonderful and will handle everything perfectly.
Just a side note. The library in Kylie's area where she can access her email doesn't allow her to load pictures into her emails. Last week they went to a different library that allowed her to upload pictures, but that was a fluke and we probably won't get many pictures for a while. :(

G-Town, TN

Sorry for the delay. Since the last time I posted Kylie has been transferred to Germantown, Tennessee. (G-town for short) Germantown is only a few miles away from the Memphis temple. Kylie got to visit the temple this week and afterward went to lunch with Larry, Louis and Ashley from Maumelle. They were at the temple doing baptisms for the dead. Kylie was really excited about spending a little more time with them. I will post her new address so anyone can write her. She missed Maumelle but is excited to be in a new area and make new friends. Kylie and her companion are teaching a girl named Ashley who, in Kylie's words, is golden. She's been to church 4 times and 3 of the times she came on her own.
This picture is of Kylie, Aleys and Sister Wall. Aleys is the deaf girl that Kylie was teaching in Maumelle. Here is Kylie with Aleys, her mom Maria and Sister Wall.
Here is Kylie's new companion, Sister Campbell.
This week Kylie and Sister Campbell were over run with ants. So they spent some time cleaning out cupboards and spraying. This is after the second time they had cleaned and sprayed and they still wouldn't die. GROSS!!
