Hey girls! I hope you are all excited about reading the Book of Mormon together like I am. Even the Bishopric is excited and reading along with us. AND if you were listening on Sunday, Bishop invited the whole ward to read with us too! After only a week you have inspired more people to read the Book of Mormon than I bet you thought you could.
Just as a reminder, you only have to read a chapter a day to keep up with the reading chart and finish by December 13th, 2009. As of today (Tuesday April 21) you should have read 1 Nephi chapter 4.
So happy reading and enjoy all that you'll learn!
Hi Girls-
Sister Loganimoce here. Your leaders and I thought this might be a good way to keep you posted on all that is going on with the Young Women's program. We will let you know about upcoming activities, important reminders and information, quotes and talks of interest, and even post up pictures of all of you at our activities. We also hope that you will contribute comments and thoughts to different posts so that we can all share and grow together in the Gospel.
As always, I am always open to new and creative ideas that I can make this blog better, and more interesting to all of you girls, so please feel free to tell me or send me an email with your thoughts.
Yours, Sister L.

Hail and Farewell
All of you know by now that we have a new Young Women's Presidency called. Some faces stayed the same (Sis. Blaylock and Sis. Loganimoce) but we have some new faces to add to the mix. Sister Telford was called as the Young Women President and Sister Robinson was called as the 2nd Counsellor. We are excited to have them as a part of our group and look forward to all the great fun we will have together.
We also just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to the released presidency, Sister Paulsen and Sister Shoda for all their dedicated service to the Young Women.

Hi Girls-
Here's some information regarding the combined YM/YW activity on THURSDAY, January 29th from 6:30-7:45. We will all meet at the Lake City Branch of the Seattle Public Library. Your parents will need to drop you off and pick you up at the library--we won't be at the church at all. We will meet in the conference room at the library and we'll be doing family history on the new.familysearch.org website. Everyone needs to bring their laptops to use and also the card they were given at the fireside that has their membership # and their confirmation date. If you have any questions please contact Sister Blaylock.
