Jul 2025 Gulal presented their paper titled “Without Permission: Illegible Laws against Legible Graffiti” on graffiti, law, police autocracy in Guwahati, and the right to city, at the Social Life of Law workshop at Soas.
Jan 2025 Earlier this year, Gulal was part of a street/public art residency at the independent art space Kaalo.101 in Patan, Nepal. Watch us in this documentary by vedant. The residency was put together in collaboration with Friends of Toto, Ghartera, First Draft, and Studio Kayamai.
