Happy TWO yrs to US!!

March 5th was our second anniversary!! It was Lance's year to plan it and he surprised me with a trip to SAN DIEGO:) i LOVE california and it was at just the right time. We flew out Thursday night and stayed in Mission Bay. Lance didn't think to reserve a car before hand so Friday we called some places and got on a waiting list. We decided to take a walk around a park an enjoy the warm weather. Well..... this walk turned into a four or five mile walk. Not complaining, just hadn't broken in the shoes i was wearing. Needless to say i got two HUGE BLISTERS on my feet. We finally just took another taxi to the airport car rental place and rented a car. We drove to HUNTINGTON BEACH and went shopping in all the surf shops. I totally wish we could move out there.. I would love it!! We ate dinner on one of the places on the peir and after drove aroundand tried to find Lances FAVORITE store... Swell. Well we ended up finding it but it turned out to just be a warehouse.

Saturaday we went to SEA WORLD! It was a blast seeing a touching all the animals and different shows. Lance's big surprise was going swimming with the DOLPHINS! We changed into wet suits and went on our way. We got to take picures with them and had them do tricks. It was a blast and the BEST surprise for our anniversary.

We went back and shower and got ready to go to dinner. Lance had made some reservations at an Italian place. We drove around to find it and found it on the streets with all the bars! HAHA.... but it ended up being a really good place and very authentic! I dont think Lance enjoyed it quite as much as me though.:) He likes things very much american-isd!!

Sunday morning we checked out of our hotel and decided to explore down town. We walked around and visiteda bunch more shops. We went to the beach but it was pretty cold so we didn't stay too long.

We kept seeing these all over the place over houses, building, and apartment buildings. Lance said the were pest control things...... like they had to fumigate all these buildings. We would go somewhere and come back to a whole huge building covered in these circus tent things! It was crazy and a little unsettling that san diego had this much of a problem.....
Our flight home was scheduled to be at 6:10 Sunday night. I had a ticket, but Lance only had a standby ticket. We didn't have a problem flying to SanDiego, so we were hoping we wouldn't coming home either. WELL....... that didn't happen. When we checked in with the airline an hour and a half early there was 6 seatsleft on the flight. When we went up to board, they told us that the flight had filled up!! So i boarded and Lance stayed behind:( Well the next flight wasn't until 6:15 the NEXT MORNING!! So Lance stayed in the airport all night (being kiched out of the sercure area around 1:00am. and tried to sleep) Thank goodness he was able to board the next flight and I went and picked him up at 9:15. What a crazy experience! Just paying for a ticket might be the way to go....

Well this trip was a blast and I am so thankful to be married to my very best friend!! These two years have been filled with geart highs and lows. We made it through six months of being apart and it strengthen us a great deal! I LOVE Lance so much and am excited for what the future with bring us! :)
