Late Post

Brooke, Camryn, and Gavin II
2 weekends ago, Sheri and Bob came into town and had a bbq at her parent's house. It was so fun to hang out with everyone. We see Sheri and Bb only a few times a year. Every time I see them, I try to convince them to come back to NOLA but, yet again, I was unsuccessful. We are keeping hope that they come back one day!
Gavin II got to be a litte fish in the baby pool that they had set up!

Our Broadway Star

Tonight, we were sooo proud of our little star!! It was his stage debut and he absolutely loved being in front of an audience. It was so cute! Nana, Papa, Juju, and Pappy also joined us to cheer on Gavin II.

Update

Just to answer the question of the day....
We are certainly going to find out if it is a girl or boy. We will post as soon as the information becomes available :) C'mon...you know we couldn't hold out!

Here's Baby....

Today I had my first OB appointment. I was really stressed and really went with the intention of seeing the heartbeat. Since the ultrasound room was empty, he decided to scan me real quick to see what we could see. Here he/she is! It was so cute - the little hands and feet were both moving around!! I am officially 9 weeks and 4 days. My due date is February 21, 2009.
Daddy and little Gavin were both there and were super excited. Gavin was such a proud daddy - he was taking pictures of the ultrasound with his camera. Little Gavin had lots of questions about what was going on but ultimatey was so happy to see the baby. We feel very blessed and happy that all is well and the baby and mommy are healthy - despite the vomiting!
I go back in one month for a "formal untrasound". Pictures to follow.

Tie Dye!

Gavin was pretty proud of his shirt

that he made at camp. We were pretty impressed, too!

A Sweet Treat

Saturday, I had an edible arrangement (www.ediblearrangements.com) delivered for Gavin II. It is all fruit (which he can eat) and I have heard that their fruit is just incredible. I figured that he would love to have something delivered and he loves fruit. He absolutely loved it. In fact, he ate 2/3 of the arrangement within the hour of receiving it. He asked if he could have another one another day. Too cute!

Progression Picture #1 - 9 Weeks

So, here it is...the first progression picture for baby Langston #2. I am 9 weeks and I think the belly has popped out a bit earlier with this baby. It pops out more after I eat :) I have my first OB appointment on Wednesday next week. I will post after the appt and hopefully will have an ultrasound picture to show for it.

Molly and Brad's Wedding

Last Saturday, we went with Gavin's parents to a family friend's wedding in Denham Springs and then Baton Rouge for the reception. We got hopelessly lost in Denham Springs and made it to a 1:00 pm wedding at 1:40 pm but, hey, we got there! The reception was very fun and we enjoyed spending the day with Nana and Papa. Molly looked beautiful! Best wishes to Molly and Brad for a lifetime of happiness together!

July 4th

Post-meal napping
Uncle Shaun and Gavin
Yummy food!

Gavin and I grilled (well, Gavin did!) and had my parents, Gavin's parents and Uncle Shaun over! It was good to see everyone and the food was delicious! The baby allowed a bit of a hamburger and some corn on the cob. I also managed to squeeze in some cake, too!

Ugggghhhh....

I apologize for not keeping up so well with the blog lately. I am fighting off morning sickness big time. No vomiting as of yet but it's pretty rough nausea. I am mainly working in clinic and then I'm in bed - there's not much in between! Little Gavin pretty much comes to the side of the bed for all needs and questions - that's where he knows I'll be! Anyway, we keep joking that it MUST be another boy because this baby is kicking my butt as much as Gavin did - well, not AS bad but it's still rough!

Hopefully, I will get some pictures from today - we are grilling and having the parents and Uncle Shaun over. Happy 4th of July to everyone!
