it seems the older my kids get the more Christmas is about the animals, who needs babies??? Dusti has plenty this year....bet she isn't as rested as I am.....

Mom and I were finished with cooking serving and cleaning up the leftovers and the dishwasher was running at 12:32pm yesterday....we rested, Mom slept for 3 hours, we played games and visited with one another for the rest of the day.it was truly a peaceful day.

It's over !!! I have never been so happy to see the Holiday get gone ... how sad is that. I now cannot wait to get the decorations put away......we were supposed to have the rest of the family over for this weekend but weather is not cooperating so I do not think they are coming oh well their loss we have all the great food !!!

I got most of my Christmas shopping done with one phone call to ticket master. I bought every one a ticket to The Lion King at the Paramount theatre in Seattle in February.the day after valentines day we will get to see a great show. I am so looking forward to it.now to add some holiday pictures from yesterday....enjoy !!

2 days to Christmas

It was doggy bath day at our house, today. little Randy we saved for last because he is the easiest. he fell asleep while Mom washed and rinsed him......

Ivy tolerates her bath only because she gets to play with the towels afterwards......

Randy is sooooo laid back.....

KaBenZ, however is the biggest whiner of the three........

Ki, saying are you going to put me in the kitchen sink ?????

we are having below freezing weather and it has brought every flea within a two county radius into our house. hopefully the baths and flea medicine will work this time. Is it just us or do these chemicals no longer work ? I am tired of paying so much for a product that either only works for a week instead of a month or doesn't work at all. WTF ??

we are ready for Christmas, as ready as we are going to be, tomorrow we will de-bone the turkey and have turkey and dumplings for dinner, and I will make the molded salad, cut up vegys boil eggs, all the prep work for the next day.

Mom and I have been baking cookies and I sent some to my husbands kids, gad with postage I should have just sent money !!! let them bake their own !! but it has been fun doing this with Mom. I am so blessed,
