the 8 year old

what a way to start such a beautiful day....the 8 year old grandson is up before any one and takes a can of orange air fresher to one of the cats. soaking his neck and shoulders but he was "just playing" with the cat.....I called the vet then the poison control center, we just have to watch and see how he does, he is no longer foaming at the mouth and his nose is no longer running so maybe he will be okay, the cat that is........I don't get it, I have been around damaged kids before I have worked with many helped them turn thier lives around and this one is bent on distructing anything around him he cares not what. It is so sad to think this 8 year old is going no place with his future, by his own choices.
I no longer care if his mother is safe for him I want him gone, where does it say my house can't be safe for anything but him ?
done done done...hurry up June !!

If You Are Unhappy...

Once upon a time there was a nonconforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter. However soon the weather became so cold that he had to reluctently fly south. In a short time, ice began to form on his wings and he fell to the earth in a barnyard, almost frozen.
A cow passed by and crapped on the little sparrow...
The sparrow thought it was the end, but the manure warmed him and defrosted his wings. Warm and happy, able to breathe, he started to sing...
Just then a large cat came by, and hearing the chirping, investigated the sound... The cat cleared away the manure, found the chirping bird and promptly ate it.

the Moral of the story
Everyone that shits on you, is not necessarily your enemy.
Everyone who gets you out of shit, is not necessarily your friend.
And, if you're warm and happy in a pile of shit, keep your mouth shut.

Tired

Such a busy week has passed I am still recuperating. I took a friend Susan, to the Scrapbook Convention in Portland and we had fun . learned some new techniques, got some new products, in general just had fun,. Today is the first day I have gotten up and around before noon. my pain level is finally tolerable. I did a quick clean on the 75 salt water tank. and it so looks better, wish I could feel up to doing it every day it would improve with such care, but I take what I am givin and use it to the best of my ability, it just never seems enough,,,,
Spring has come to the neighborhood at last. crocus and other spring flowers are popping up every where. we are always green but the spring green is my favorite. hopefully things will financially swing back in our favor soon.
I have a Brother-in-law that is in the hospital, and Johnnie is down in the dumps.
Sending Prayers helps.
