Humboldt Redwoods State Park is located in Northern California along Hwy 101.on State route 254, the Avenue of the Giants, is a scenic alternative to Hwy 101. The Avenue of the Giants runs roughly parallel to Hwy 101 and through the Park for approximately 32 miles. All Hwy 101 exits for Humboldt Redwoods State Park, with the exception of the Salmon Creek exit, allow easy access to the Avenue and the main State Park Office.
