We had the most lovely afternoon drinking champagne and chatting with just a few friends at home. We also had a very delicious Mascarpone cream cake, this rounded up a week of Birthday festivities. Despite the wind, brilliant sun was in attendance. It was all very comfy, the way life should be.
We reminisced on our 10 Anniversary living on Prince Edward Island and all the things we have done since. We certainly have a greater social circle here than we did in Ottawa.
On Wednesday I have been invited to talk on the current situation in Iran and give an historical perspective based on my own experience and observations during my time in the region. Due to bad weather it has been postponed to later.
The price of gas is now $2.00 per litre or $8.00 per gallon. Given we have lots of F150 trucks and SUV I can just imagine what people are paying and complaining. Other statistics about Canadian attitudes towards other countries. The USA is at the bottom now, where before Trump it was high. The number of Canadians willing to travel to the USA is down to 5% which is an all time low. It appears that many Canadians want to join the European Union to increase trade benefits beyond what we have now and divorce ourselves from the USA.
This is now Income tax season, renewal of car registration and car inspection which we do yearly on PEI, insurance renewal etc. It can be expensive.
We got our tickets to fly to Spain in September, there was a seat sale and got better prices. So we are pretty much set, we are arriving a few days before the cruise in order to see the Sagrada Família Church almost completed after 144 years of construction. In the meantime April is the start of the tourist season and I am ready to meet the challenge. However with the price of gas, hotels and restaurants, I wonder if we will get the same amount of people we did in 2025.
Here is a thought for the day: Eating Tiramisu will not make you happier but neither would Broccoli. So enjoy your dessert.
In the coming days we have Passover and Easter, no plans yet on what we will do. Maybe get some lamb, we will be at home. We will also look into the excursions offered on Crystal for our cruise in October.
I also have to put myself on a diet, in my family on my father’s side we do put on weight easily, so being careful and portion control is important. My tour guide job will be starting in a month and I have to be in shape. Again this year there is concerns amongst our group of guides about certain tourist and politics. Last season was ok and I did not have any problems, but you have to be on your guard.
Teeter is good ole Teeter, and his routine is all important, we cannot forget it because he does prompt us. He does love to cuddle several times a day, he has also become fond of coming to bed and snoozing with us. In the evening he will cuddle with me on the sofa wrapped in his blanket. He also loves tummy rubs. He turns 5 yrs old on 21 April. I would love to discover why he does not bark, did something happen to him when he was a puppy? He also does not play, he has toys but is not interested in them. On the other hand he loves his all beef bully stick but again he will not take it from us, we have to leave it on the ground. We do know that he went to a family at some point and was returned to the breeder, so who knows. Teeter remains adorable and a very good boy.
A picture taken by our neighbour Bruce S. of the New London rear lighthouse at French river where we will go in August.
Easter and Passover Eggs. I learned something interesting today about two holidays and the tradition of Eggs. Elon Gilad, linguist and author who works for Haaretz, the newspaper of left wing opinions in Israel has site on Instagram. He explains various origins of words and their usage over the ages. Today it was about Eggs which are a tradition for both Christians and Jews.
During the middle-ages around 1420, Christians followed strict observance of Lent, so the food diet was very simple and eggs were off the menu. But this did not stop hens from laying eggs, what to do? People would simply boil the eggs and then keep them to eat at Easter as part of the feast. At the same time the tradition of painting eggs was developed.
For Jews who prepare the Passover Seder, matzah (unleavened bread) and bitter herbs (maror) are core symbolic food mandated by the Torah. Matzah symbolizes the haste of the exodus and humility, while bitter herbs evoke the harshness of slavery in Egypt. They are often eaten together in a “Hillel sandwich”. Now Rabbis established the use of the egg known as a kebeitza (egg bulk), to determine the required amounts of matzah and bitter herbs to eat at the Seder. The Rabbis came up with a “standard unit of volume” using an egg. So under rabbinical law to calculate religious obligations, particularly in the context of Passover, the egg indicates the size of a required portion.
March 24 is a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies. This morning I had smoke salmon and scrambled eggs with my espresso. Then lunch with my colleagues of the tour company, they gave me a tiny cupcake which made me laugh. Then tonight we are going to dinner with dear friends. All day good wishes have come in, it is nice to be remembered.
The weather bureau predicted for the Maritimes some very stormy weather for the next 5 days. However it did not turn out too badly except for Saturday when the light swirling snow, high wind and fog made a mess of things. Sunday was beautiful and we were suppose to return to stormy weather on Monday. End of Winter is always this way, Spring has arrived but Winter wants a last hurrah, so you get a real mix of temperature and messy weather. It really is not cold anymore, snow is almost gone. The ice over the rivers and the Strait is breaking up with wide patch of open water.
Several restaurants are re-opening this week for the tourist season, many want to be open at least 7 days before the first cruise ship arrives in order to prepare kitchens and staff. Until 29 April Setting Day, the Lobsters come from Nova Scotia, but do not tell anyone. Of course the tourist menus talk of Market prices for Lobster and now Oysters are at $4. each, what a rip-off. Well the official explanation is “what the market will bear” So people are willing to pay such, then we will charge as much.
We had a fun time at the Club on Friday, on Sunday my friend Bert and I celebrated our Bday. He is 93 and quite spry and I am 70. Lots of wonderful food and cake, all prepared by his daughter. The house is in Keppoch on the Strait, quite a wonderful view of the water and the Province of Nova Scotia, about 20Km across the water. Lots of people present and we both each got a 4 foot long Bday card signed by everyone. The coffee was flavoured with the alcohol of your choice and two cakes, mine was lemon and his was chocolate. Because he has a piano in his home one of the guest who is a professional piano player did the honours. It was great fun.
Tuesday 24 March is my Official Birthday Dinner and we are going to Claddagh Oyster House on Sydney street, one of my favourite restaurants in Charlottetown, with a solid reputation for the last 42 years. I know that Will is also planning another event.
The price of gas in Canada continues to climb. Here in PEI it is now around $1.91 CDN per litre, the cheapest oil is $1.86. One quarter tank cost me $38.79. I am sure it will climb again this week to possibly over the $2.00 mark per litre. My strategy is to top up instead of waiting for the half full mark. This way I hope to save some money, though I do not drive the car much. What I find pathetic is how the average Joe screams about it instead of trying to understand how the world market works and dictates prices. I saw that in Europe for a litre people pay 2.10 Euros. It’s all relative, I suppose. As the Prime Minister would say,” We have to deal with the world as it is, not as we wish it to be.”
Then this crazy news item the BBC News reports:
A commemorative gold coin bearing the image of US President Donald Trump has been approved by a federal arts commission. The 24-karat gold coin is intended to mark America’s 250th birthday this 4 July and portrays Trump with his fists pressed against a desk. After a presentation by the US Mint, the US Commission of Fine Arts voted unanimously to approve the design, despite questions over its legality. It has to be the ugliest coin, even if it is in gold, I have ever seen, vulgar and in poor taste. In Canada because we are a Constitutional Monarchy, only the effigy of HM the King appears on our coins.
US Federal law does not allow a living president to appear on US currency. But the coin is being issued in accordance with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s authority and discretion to mint and issue proof gold coins. But that is not all, there is also a RealDonaldTrump Coin minted by Trump Coins in gold at $6,281.00 USD. This is the sort of thing that happens in tin pot republics, where the dictator appears on currency.
Friday 20 March is Eid el-Fitr, the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan for 2 billion muslims around the world, festival of charity and sharing food with the less fortunate, celebration of Faith, family and friends. It is also Persian New Year, the Festival of Nowruz. As winter fades in the Northern Hemisphere and the days grow longer, millions of people prepare to welcome Nowruz, the Persian New Year, which marks the arrival of spring and symbolises fresh beginnings.
Observed for more than 3,000 years, this 13-day festival unites communities across Iran, Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Balkans, parts of the Middle East and beyond.
The EID Al-Fitr is the lesser of the festivals at the end of Ramadan, the other in 10 days will be Eid al-Adha which is based on the story of Abraham who is tested in his Faith by God who ask him to sacrifice is son Ishmael until an Angle stops him.
It is also the beginning of my Birthday weekend countdown to the 24 March. It is a milestone and people are asking me how I feel. You know when you turn 40, people say life begins at 40 so that you do not feel too bad. When you turn 50, they say it’s the new 30. Well I do not know about 70, all I wish for his good health and a clear mind, if it last until I am 80 I will be happy.
More and more I find that if you listen to anything on the news or the internet, speakers will mispronounce any name of country or city they are unfamiliar with or have heard but are not bothered getting the pronunciation right. Currently with the war in the Gulf and Middle East there are loads of mispronunciations.
The one that annoys me the most is Qatar, on CNN they call it CUTTER. Where did this come from? The correct way to say it is KA -TAR. I believe that this probably started with the military with their singular way of calling things the way they think it is called. On American news, the news items follow US army around the world and this includes the weather for places like Quetta a city in the province of Baluchistan, in Pakistan, near the border with Afghanistan. I never understood why suburban housewives in Arkansas would care for the weather in that part of the world. When you cannot get the weather in Canada on any US news network.
Since Israel and the USA started the un-winnable war with Iran, I have heard some truly funny, maybe sad, news casts where IRAN which is ancient Persia called IRAQ. Not the same country, one is an ancient empire with 5000 years of history and a country 3 times the size of its neighbour. Iran has a population of 97 million people, highly educated and professional. On the other hand Iraq is a British creation of 1920 and was a mandate of Britain until 1932. Population is Arab and Kurdish, with a population of 46 million. It was part of the Ottoman Turkish Empire and called Mesopotamia until 1919. Iranians are not Arabs, they are ethnically a Caucasians, descending from Indo-European (Aryan) tribes. Iran also has important other ethnic groups like Turkmen, Azeri, Balouch, Lurs, Kurds, Tajiks.
Same goes for the Supreme Leader, the first one who gained power in 1979 was Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini who died in 1989. His successor was Ali Khamenei who recently died. for some reason the two names are confused as if it is one and the same person. Khomeini would be 124 years old today. I think that this happens because of the sloppiness and laziness of the media. But given how serious the situation is now, you would think that the media would make the effort to get their facts straight.
Tonight I heard Professor Robert Pape of the University of Chicago, who described this conflict as the New Vietnam. He explained that it is clear now the USA with Israel are alone in this war. The other nations in NATO are not interested and President Alexander Stubb of Finland made that clear today on behalf of NATO. Who could help the USA and Israel, Prof. Pape suggested the 13 other Gulf nations who all bought sophisticated weapons from the USA for years. This is their war in their region. However one has to know history, to remember that Iran ruled over the Arabs for many centuries. They all have a long history with each other, the USA and Israel are new comers to this little party. Pape said New Vietnam, why? Well the USA got involved in Vietnam in 1960 but by 1967-68 and the Tet Offensive, President Johnson realized this Vietnam adventure was unwinnable, he also became so unpopular that he could not run for a second term. It was left to Nixon to conclude this war that the USA lost in 1975. Though today in popular American culture, Hollywood presents it as a possible win in the end with lots of heroes.
With Iran, the current government is very well organized after 47 years and is no push over. They will fight to the death and resistance is a victory by itself. This is the way the Vietcong saw it and ultimately exhausted the US army. Tonight the latest response given by interviews by Iranian Officials in a calm, serious and resolute manner shows their determination. Trump may think that he could now send troops but that would turn into a massacre of US soldiers. Iraq was different and bad with various factions fighting each other within the country in an effort to succeed Saddam Hussein. Not so in Iran, the Iranians are a very proud people and they may hate the Mullahs regime they have now, they would prefer change it themselves and not have the USA come and dictate to them. The USA was involved in August 1953 in the coup to overthrow the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh, because he was going to nationalize British oil companies, the coup was a terrible mistake.
The other point Prof. Pape made was about the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranians know that the USA needs the oil to pass through and are desperate, this Iran will exploit to their advantage. Rising oil prices, fuel inflation, affect stocks and bonds, food prices, it creates uncertainty. Trump cannot afford high inflation and high gas prices and volatility on the stock market. So Iran is winning though the western media does not want to present it that way. Israel is also loosing and is becoming the pariah state, waging war on Lebanon and Syria, both have important Christian populations who have been attacked.
Now the most grave danger is the potential use of nuclear weapons. We know that the USA, Russia, China, France and England as the 5 permanent members of the security council have such weapons and are unlikely to use them, they are a deterrent not a weapon. However there are 4 other countries who also have the bomb, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel. The problem is Israel and a very serious one at that. Israel is governed by a Zionist right wing government under Netanyahu who clings to power so he does not have to go to prison for numerous misdeeds. Israel is also involved in bombing Lebanon and Syria on top of its war with Iran. If the threat of Iran becomes too great and if Hezbollah (party of God) continues to shell Israel with hundred of rockets, the government of Netanyahu may feel they have no choice. and use its nuclear weapons against Iran. Given the fanaticism of the Israeli government and the treatment netted out to Palestinian in Gaza and in Palestine proper with 75,000 dead, a figure the Israeli Army now accept as accurate, we will have an uncontrollable situation. Trump will not be able to control Israel. It’s time for the American public to wake up, the President is endangering every one with his ignorance and incompetence. The mid-term election will solve nothing. US Congress needs to repudiate Israel and apologize for its misdeeds. This will not happen politically, no politician is brave enough to change US foreign policy.
Gaza and the West Bank is in fact the State of Palestine.
I was shopping today and in the butcher shop they had beef briskets for sale at $99.00, it is a huge piece of meat and you could easily feed 10 people. I wondered if it would fit in the oven. Easter and so is Passover coming soon, the stores have all manner of meats etc for the holidays.
This Sunday at the Club they will celebrate St-Patrick and Will propose to make 100 potato patties, I call them latkes but they are not fried, they are baked in butter, in Ireland they call them Boxty. Because he is going earlier that day to the Symphony, I am bringing the dish to the club to reheat in the kitchen. I tried one and it was good, I gave Teeter a little bit and he liked it too. Contrary to our other 4 Dachshunds, he is fussy, he has to smell it first and decide if he will eat it. He is a strange boy. The Vet called back to say that he probably has a urinary tract infection, we are treating it now. Otherwise he is in good health. He will be 5 Years old on 21 April, which happens to be Rome’s 2779’s Birthday.
Speaking of Birthday Cakes, here is one I saw at the grocery store in the bakery dept, with super Mario racing cars. The frosting is guaranteed to rot your teeth.
Today March 14 is the first anniversary of Dr Mark Carney becoming Prime Minister of Canada, what an incredible year it has been. Is popularity today with Canadian is very high and reminds us that no prime minister since 1994 has been this popular. His government is also highly popular for all the new trade deals with Asian countries, defence agreements with Europe and the handling of Trump. Despite all that is going tragically wrong in the world, I have lots of confidence in his abilities. He has demonstrated what he can achieve in spade. Just yesterday he announced at his birthplace, the construction of a permanent highway is moving forward after 70 years of talks and planning. The Mackenzie Valley Highway, an all-season road approximately 800 km in length, connecting Wrigley to Inuvik in the Northwest Territories. The project aims to provide year-round access to Indigenous and remote communities, with construction beginning in summer 2026. This is a real National Dream for Canadians and it will also connect 4 new military stations in the great North to defend Canada. The Prime Minister pointed out that we are no longer waiting on the USA when it comes to our national defence. There are many other projects on the way like the bullet train between Quebec City and Toronto, the rearming of the Army, Air Force and Navy, the purchase of a new fleet of submarine and fighter jets, not looking at American suppliers but other nations.
The PM was born in the North West Territories where his parents worked. It is a very remote area of Canada but has become very important in the last decade due to climate change and the melting of the permafrost.
In this photo you can see the trees growth are stunted due to the very short growing season. Further North, trees disappear completely as you enter the Arctic region, replaced by lichen. Additionally, the federal government is advancing the Grays Bay Road and Port project, which will create a 230-km, all-season road linking the Northwest Territories to a new deepwater port on the Arctic Ocean. This road connects Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories to Grays Bay in Nunavut. Given the harsh environment of the Arctic region, these roads will make life easier for the Dene, Innu and Cree people living up there. Contrary to what may be believed flying planes up there can be very difficult so moving freight by trucks is easier. As the Prime Minister said we own the North so we have to use it.
Il y a quelques jours, dans le sous sol de la Cathédrale Luthérienne de Berlin le caveau de la famille royale de Prusse a réouvert.
In Berlin the Lutheran Cathedral on Museum Island and also where the former Royal Palace of Berlin now called Humboldt Forum is located is well worth a visit. The Cathedral we see today dates from 1898 and was largely remodelled, after 1945 and the bombing of the city, the central dome had collapsed. In 1975 the East German Government decided to make some repairs to the church. They did not restore it to what we see today, that waited until 1990 after German reunification. The communist also demolished the mausoleum part which represented one third of the building and was located on the North side of the Church and all princely tombs were transferred to the cathedral basement.
In 1997 I made a first visit to the Cathedral which was in full restoration, it is built and decorated in the German Baroque and Italian Renaissance style. The stain glass windows around the Altar were re-installed and the interior was brought back to its appearance of 1900, with the gallery for diplomats and for the Imperial Family. The basement which is large had many coffins of the princes and the Kings of Prussia, there was a pervasive smell of decay due to poor ventilation. Nonetheless it attracted a lot of visitors because of its historical significance. The sarcophagi are of huge historical significance. One created by Andreas Schlüter for Kaiser Friedrich III, is the only one left on the main floor. Not all the rulers of Prussia and Germany are in the crypt. Some are in the Charlottenburg Palace garden and others in the large Potsdam Royal Park Temple or in the Church of Peace at Sans Souci.
The Hohenzollern Crypt beneath the Berlin Cathedral reopened on February 28, 2026, following a six-year, €29 million restoration. This premier Hohenzollern burial site, housing 91 sarcophagi of Prussian rulers, is now barrier-free, features enhanced climate control to protect against damage, and includes a new interactive educational area. It use to be free to visit but now tickets cost $18 USD.
The February reopening was accompanied by a Protestant service reflecting the cathedral’s historic role as the court church of the Hohenzollern dynasty, which ruled as Kings of Prussia from 1701 to 1870 and to 1918, as German Emperors. H.I.R.H Prince Georg Friedrich has wife Princess Sophie of Prussia attended the religious service.
Tomb of Kaiser Frederick III (1888) in the main church, he was the father of Kaiser Wilhelm I who is not buried in Germany but in Holland where he died in exile in 1942.
I am told by WordPress that 607 people are following my blog. I say welcome and thank you. I have visitors from around the world on every continent. Most visitors are from USA, Canada, Singapore, UK, Hong Kong, Australia. The most viewed by far is my profile 9160 views, then comes a blog entry on Canadian Paintings and the Carnevale Season in Venice. Not so many comments daily, despite the 607 followers. Since this blog is about this and that and what strike my fancy on any given day, I wonder if some topics are more likely to get a reaction. I have been writing on my blog for quite a few years now on a regular basis.
I now know that our cruise ship season starts on Wednesday 29 April with the first cruise ship arriving in Charlottetown, Holland America Zuiderdam with 2360 passengers. My new and improved notes for different destinations are ready with lots of new info.
The weather for the last 3 days has been around 10 to 12 Celsius, which is wonderful and means that we are in Maple Syrup time at the Sugar Bush Shack. Amazing how a few days of warm weather will erase Winter. Tomorrow Wednesday it is suppose to rain but again that is good as the snow melts. My uncle has an 18,000 maple tree farm (forest) and he collects a lot of sap and turns it into that wonderful premium stuff. He sells a bottle for $7.50 which is a real bargain. Now the part I never understood is why some people look for the Kosher mark on Maple syrup bottles. I mean you collect the sap from the tree direct and then you boil it down to make the syrup or candy, nothing else. I think this is a gimmick, a rabbi told me that since maple syrup or sugar did not exist when the dietary laws were written, maple syrup is exempt. I am pretty sure I could find another rabbi to disagree.
Teeter is not feeling well, in the last week all of a sudden he has been having accidents in the house. So we went to see the Vet with him today and they are doing some blood and urine test to see if he has an infection of sorts. Otherwise he is fine, we may have to get his teeth cleaned. You should see his big teeth at the back, for a little 11 lbs dog, he has pretty impressive teeth. Tomorrow he is getting a bath, I will also call the manicurist to have his nails trimmed. Yes he is pampered but he is such a sweet boy. We are still trying to understand why he does not bark, it is unheard of in the Dachshund world. Mind you our Nicky did not bark often, he would bark once usually to get our attention but most of the time he would whine, maybe that is a male thing amongst Dachshunds. On the other hand our Nora was a talker and a barker non stop all day, a real busy body.
Bought my tickets today for the Wine Festival on 17 April at the Delta Hotel. I go every year, it is a beautiful event and the Friday night is always great with food, music and special vintages from around the world. Every year some 60 wineries from around the world are present. This year Australia is featured, I am looking forward to this event.
With the arrival of Spring, many food festivals are taking place in Charlottetown. Another big one is the Seafood Festival which draws big crowds to sample all manner of dishes prepared by Chefs. Last year over 1000 people attended the two day event. I also cracked a mystery today. For years now I never understood why on PEI, restaurants always say that Lobster is Market price. After speaking with chefs and restaurant owners, I was told that they decide amongst themselves what they will charge for a lobster roll or a lobster dinner. When we arrived in PEI some 10 years ago this month, a lobster roll was between $12 to $16 dollars. Today it is $27. to $38 dollars, nothing has changed in the preparation, a roll contains about 100gr of lobster meat, not the fresh stuff most of it is frozen. A dinner was around $21 for a 1 lbs Lobster with coleslaw and fries. Nowadays it is around $36 to $42 dollars. I think someone is gouging.
PEI is a small Island of 1200 sq miles and a small population of 180,000. However when you hear people speak of a problem it is as if we on the Island are the only ones suffering’s so unfair so unjust and greedy people manipulate us and we love re-electing them and not ever changing a thing. There is only one price for commodities like oil, gas, diesel on PEI and it is managed by a Government body called IRAC the regulatory agency on prices. In this case IRAC can only follow world prices and see how to best manage it for us. So the price of gas went up from $1.42 to $1.62 in 48 hours, same for diesel and oil furnace which saw a major increase of 0.25 cents a litre. The howling is not the wind but people driving around their big F250 trucks and now claim they cannot afford the truck or the gas. They of course blame the politicians as if our local elected officials have the power to reduce prices. This is the usual crowd of couch complainers who would not lift a finger to take a more pragmatic approach because it is a me first mentality.
Well I started writing this post a few days ago and here we are Sunday 8 March, gas price now is $1.72, more to come. A very mild weather day today and the snow is melting very fast meaning that there is water everywhere and Charlottetown has very poor drainage, we are built on open swamp land and ponds, so the streets are flooded and driving is a mess. We are now on daylight saving time and Canada has two systems, some of our Provinces are on daylight saving time and other are not and switched permanently to one system, daylight, and they simply do not change it. It appears that more and more Canadians would like one system the daylight one which gives more daylight hours.
I now that some of you have stopped listening to the news, at the moment the news is frightening, it goes far beyond bad, it is catastrophic. Do not take my word for it, there is a concurrence of opinions by commentators. The situation with Iran and the war now in day 9, is amounting to terrible war crimes against the civilian population of Iran, with the setting on fire of the giant oil stocking depot in Tehran. The oil burns and has spilled into the sewer system igniting fires in various neighbourhoods. The sky is permanently black with soot and smoke and no one knows the permanent effect on people’s health. Ordinary people should not have to go through such horrors. I do have friends in all those places, I phoned them and keep in touch, I cannot do much, but at least let them know I think of them.
Today Trump has told off the PM of UK, Keith Starmer, the relationship with the UK is at a very fraught level and Trump told him that he does not need Britain, he has won the war with Iran and he is vowing retribution on the UK. Trump and megalomania, senile and angry, I believe he is as a person, more dangerous than any other regime. In the end we will all pay for this, one way or another.
In the meantime to distract myself I have been focusing on my notes on the various points of interest for my tours on the Island. I have uncovered a lot of info which makes a visit here more interesting and helps understand what makes the place tick. There is a lot of things to know about PEI on many topics, much of it I had never heard of. Just hoping to make the various tours I give more enjoyable for visitors.
Life is a patchwork of moments — laughter, solitude, everyday joys, and quiet aches. Through scribbled stories, I explore travels both far and inward, from sunrise over unfamiliar streets to the comfort of home. This is life as I see it, captured in ink and memory. Stick around; let's wander together.
Jerry and I get around. In 2011, we moved from the USA to Spain. We now live in Córdoba. Jerry y yo nos movemos. En 2011, nos mudamos de EEUU a España. Ahora vivimos en Córdoba.
