March 2012

This has been one of the highest and lowest months of my life, what a roller coaster!! Warning -Try not to drowned in all of my posts. Considering we took over 1000 pictures in the month of March I think I did a pretty good job condensing them into only 8 posts or so. I hope you all enjoy!

Saying goodbye.. the dreaded D day

The dreaded day has finally come and gone ); It is going to be hard but we are going to be strong and do our best. I am sure that this will be the most challenging adventure I have ever had in my life but hopefully I will become a stronger person and our family will grow even closer together.

Family Vacation - Florida

The first day we arrived in Florida we drove to Cocoa Beach and found us a beautiful hotel right on the beach. Of course Dave couldn't pass up a room with an Ocean view so that is what we had. I think we were all a bit blinded by the sun the first couple days but boy was it beautiful. The next morning we got up early to watch the sun rise on the balcony, what a site. The agenda for the day was to spend the day at the beach and check out the local hot spots. This was probably my favorite day that we had in Florida, just relaxing on the beach.

The best 9 dollars spent on this vacation was this body board. The kids played on it all day.

Kinley doing one of her all time favorite things, digging in the sand.

The next day we headed back to Orlando to start our way through the theme parks.

Sea World

The first theme park we hit was Sea World. The kids each had their own agenda for the park. Kinley wanted to see the animal show, Taylin wanted to see the whale and dolphin shows and Jaxon wanted to ride Journey to Atlantis. I am happy to say that we accomplished all of our objectives and so much more.

The Whale show was awesome as usual. Dave and I and the girls decided to sit towards the back of the splash zone. Can you guess where Jaxon sat?

If you guessed the front row, you are right. Here he is trying to dry his shoes.

Home away from home

One of the highlights of this trip for me was the beautiful resort that we stayed at. It had several swimming pools, playgrounds, 2 bedrooms 2 baths and a stocked kitchen. I could have easily stayed for a month or longer. This is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed. If I didn't feel like we had to see everything, I could have spent most everyday laying out by the pool soaking up the sun. These are some not so great pictures from our screened in patio but I think it helps to give you an idea of how big this place is. This is a very small section of this huge resort and one of the many pools they had.

The happiest place on EARTH

The happiest place on Earth, or so the commercials tell me. The Magic Kingdom was great. The girls loved seeing all of the princesses and all of the kids loved Space Mountain.

Looking happy now. Some how I made it on the teacups not once but twice. I had to close my eyes tight each time and hope I didn't see my lunch again.

Oops this one didn't get rotated. We are inside the castle.

Night Show

Oops, I got a little out of order, oh well. The last night we were in Florida we went to the light parade and firework show, they were spectacular!
