Two weekends ago we took a trip to Arlington to go to Donnie's high school reunion. It was a quick trip because he had a test coming up that week, but it was worth it. We went to dinner the night before the reunion with two of Donnie's closest friends and their wives at this cool little restaurant called Celebration! The reunion was at the Stockyards in Forth Worth and it was nice to meet some of Donnie's old friends. I got to meet one girl that joined our church a few years ago and she felt like an instant friend. She was so sweet and I hope we see her again.

Just the boys.

The next weekend we returned to Arlington because Donnie had a week off school. We were only there a few days, but packed a lot in: bowling with the family, out to eat at multiple restaurants, shopping for some badly needed new clothes (which I was SO excited about.. but somehow Donnie got more things??) On Labor Day I was able to see two of my best friends from high school and it was good to catch up! We laughed so hard and I miss them like crazy.

We also got to hang out a bit with our good couple friends Justin and Jaymie. They are moving out of state so we probably won't see them for a while, but we're already looking forward to hanging out again. We watched the BYU game, ate some
awesome BBQ thanks to Justin's parents, putt-putted and played games. Jaymie is a really good putt-putter... she got quite a few hole-in-ones.

Does Monopoly bring out the worst in anyone else?? One of the nights Donnie and I went home mad at each other. And the rematch the next night wasn't any better.
Fake smile for the camera! We want to remember this moment forever!
And now I think we're done with all our mini summer vacations.
