Apparently there is a bit of confusion about my blogging status as evidenced by the fact that two of my loyal readers recently informed me they did not know I was updating a new blog.

So, spread the news and change your bookmarks/google reader feeds or whatever you do.


I have a new blog and I'm actually posting on a semi regular basis. I also bought a bag of candy corn pumpkins this weekend and have been brushing my teeth extra thoroughly.

Some people get their adrenaline rushes from thrills like skydiving, for me I get a complete rush when I hear great live music.

This past friday a buddy and I went to the Phoenix concert here in Omaha. Their latest album is like a dream and they performed the entire thing. They sounded a-m-a-z-i-n-g live.

We had a great spot close to the stage and managed to stand our ground and not get trampled by any frat boys attempting to mosh.

I'm in love with their music and cannot bring myself to listen to much of anything else right now. Do yourself a favor and check them out if you have not yet heard their music.

Three hours at the pool may not have been the smartest decision I made this weekend.

Yes, I have heard of sunscreen but no I did not use any.

I did however pick up every aloe vera product known to man this weekend.

At church yesterday I felt like a circus act with the number of people clamoring to poke me/feel the heat/ask what I was thinking.

You may have noticed my rather lengthy dry spell, I have too.

I'm not allowed to blog until I've done a satisfactory amount of job hunting. I'd rather do a host of other unpleasant things instead of drafting letters of interest and tweaking my resume, trust me.

I have lots of fun things to blog about and even have a new blog in the works so wish me luck/pray/make a sacrifice to the employers of omaha.
