I found Treasure, Ronaldo!!!

Sometimes when you just walk around, reading randomly, then you might have find something that is irresistible...

Spent my day off with my dad and mom, watching Thor in cinema. The action and graphic, actor and actress are all great, it's just the plot of the movie is kind of ordinary. Not much surprise, predictable. It's still a good movie though, if you're not that picky and choosy~ =D
After movie, while waiting for my big sister to come over (since we going to celebrate her birthday which is on 21 Nov~ ), I persuaded mom and dad to come with me to Borders bookstore which has Starbucks cafe within it, instead of sitting in the Starbucks cafe in the mall. After bought a drink for them, so that they could just surfing facebook while enjoying their mocha frap, I can now looking around in the bookstore, randomly pick up some books and do some reading~ A stress-free period where I can relax my mind and just enjoy the books and the joys it brings me. =)

While I doing my random reading, a book attracted my attention. It stated on the cover, "Ronaldo: The Obsession for Perfection", with my loved one Cristiano Ronaldo wearing his no7 Real Madrid jersey. I can't stop my hand from reaching the book, and started to flip it to discover whatever contents lies within. The perception and views of CR7. His life, his passion and obsession. The mindset of him, how he overcomes the obstacles and finally has the fame that he owns today. I was falling into the book, into his life, and I seek for more. I want to learn everything about him, want to see the world from his point of view, want to feel what he felt. He is my obsession, my motivation, my spiritual and moral support. He was then and he still is. I was thrilled and I couldn't hide my own excitement while I doing the reading at a corner of the bookstore. It is irresistible, and I have to get this book, I have to make it mine. Without further consideration, I took the book, and continued my random reading journey. The next book that intrigued me named Guide to Self Esteem. The words Self Esteem actually attracted my eyes. From the few pages and lines I read from my idol, I knew I need more self esteem, I need confidence so that I can have greater achievement in my life. Just like what my idol did, and still doing. While I deeply immersed in my own little world, my sister called me to inform that she had arrived. I didn't do much thinking, calculating and considering at the moment, I just walked to the counter and paid for the books. I felt satisfied. =D

I never know he is someone that craved for perfection. A perfectionist, which I believed I was one of them before. The trait started faded from me, since I don't know when specifically. Mostly started from my high school. I thought all footballer loves party, cigar, and of course liquor, but he actually obsesses to ban cigarette smoke, and almost abstaining himself from alcohol. He is very particular about his image, his appearance. He goes gym everyday just to keep the perfect body line, he restricts his own diet to keep himself healthy, he wants to be in his perfect form in every game he is participating. We need to be prepared anytime, anywhere, so that when there is a chance, we can be success just in one strike. I felt myself so much related to him, we have so many things in common than I realized. He wants to be the best, and will never stop for being the best. He motivates me, and I want to be the best too. I want to become a perfectionist, again.

"What's my biggest weakness? I don't know...
I like to be great on every level, not just physically and mentally too.
There's no single aspect that I work on more than others.
I just want to keep getting stronger."

Just before Exhausted.

The heritage, the street mural, the 'tourist's spot', if not for my friends, guess I will never learnt the road there, or explore the place. Since the heritage established, the car free day commenced, the street mural by Ernest Zacharevic done, I haven't really take a tour there for sight seeing and to act like a tourist. Busy is always my excuse, in which everyone know the real excuse is lazy.

So last week, Hari and Jimmy came back for visiting and accompanying me since my parents are still in their vacation in Europe. Since I picked up my new car, I had drive him alone, in the rainstorm, at night but not yet the midnight. We bought the movie ticket for Ender's game, it's just a snack show before the premiere, so the movie was at 11.55pm. Oh, before I forgot, I was introduced with a board game which I found it really interesting and nice to play! All players are not opponents instead we're like a team, and it's the game or more specifically the rules that we have to deal with. The game named Pandemic, as there are four types of infectious diseases, we have to prevent the outbreak at the same time control the spread as well as find the cure. Every player has own role, and each role has some special ability that helps to win the game. It can be addicted when you started to understand the game, and learn the trick to play it.

I drove them to movie that night, since they both were kind of tired after the early ferry, drove off from alor setar and spent whole day in a mall. Before I drove, I was kind of nervous and worry as it's almost 12am in the midnight, just worry I will be having poor eyesight as well as sleepy while driving. Well, to my surprise, everything goes well and I still can drive steadily after the movie! Almost 2am though. It's just awesome for me!! My first time midnight driving in my own car~!!!

Ender's Game, it's not just a game. That's what the poster said. Well, I'm not disappointed with the movie. It turned out to be really exciting and out of my expectation. I felt that it was awesome, might be due to my low expectation. Yet, all the actors and actress were so great. Even a teenager can have such a good acting skill! What can I say, Hollywood always make wonders~!

The next morning we went for Dim sum at Tai Tong, then plan stuck. Planning to go Mugshot cafe but we can't get a parking place, ended up parked at somewhere near Khoo Kongsi, my mum's old house, she stayed there since she was young. I had totally no idea where the mural been distributed, although I tried to figure it out through google it, it just not that easy to understand the roads there. Thanks to the kind lady that provided me the map with the locations of all the murals! We walked for quite a long distance, stopped for photo once in awhile, and take a break in Twelve cups cafe.

Jimmy's birthday is on 13th Nov so I decided to have early celebration for him, this is the only thing I could do since he is going back soon. I ordered the mille crepes after they both settling down, and wrote some note for the waiter so that he could decorated around the crepes. Always love some little surprise~ Jimmy looked surprise and shy as we sang the birthday song (I purposely did that!! XD), well we took a couples photos just as memory. After the tea time, we had to walk back to car and rushing for a flight. I was totally exhausted that day as I rushed to work right after back from airport.

This whole week just filled with party, outing and of course lacks of sleep.. I need sleep and more rest, plus some private time, just to enjoy myself, or do something I should, such as learn new dance, new language, get back to book/novel, tidy up the house.  A long list of stuffs awaiting for me!

then in that very moment I also love him."

Halloween Party 2013

It has been a week since my parents and sister go for their Europe trip, since I first get my car. Last Monday, my friends from Uni came over to stay with me and we had an awesome Halloween party~ Although Halloween was over, we still enjoy ourselves by preparing the food which resembles the event, and costumes plus make over~ Time taken for food preparation was quite lengthy, but the results were good~ Delicious food and appearance that fit the theme~! They made me a wicked witch from the movie Oz, with the terrible green colour face, and the unacceptable high eyebrows. We took a lots of photos, and slept at almost 5am after cleaning up everything after the party..

The next morning, we woke up at 9am. Lunch at Morganfield, then watched a movie in Gurney. The movie named Rigor Mortis. Originated from Hong Kong, the movie was in Cantonese. It's about zombie (Chinese version), I just found the name quite fascinating and surprising. Rigor means stiffness, and mortis means death in Latin, it's actually used to describe a state of human body when dead. It is one of the recognizable signs of death, caused by chemical changes in the muscles after death, causing the limbs of the corpse to become stiff and difficult to move or manipulate. The movie was just okay, as I fall asleep a few times throughout the movie. Not quite understand what's the movie trying to tell.

After movie, we went for dinner in LaMeiZhi before back home. My first halloween party ended, and I really love to have this kind of party. People dressed differently, which help to create an atmosphere that make the theme party even great! This always remind me the Chemistry party that I always love to have. Maybe one day in future. =)
