The currency rate we using was RM1:280KRW
The above expenses are the equal share amount per person in a group of four.

If it's just for experiencing Korea's culture, enjoy Korean food and sightseeing, you can make a trip to Korea for 13 days with less than RM3500.
For girls who want to shop through the trip, kindly bring as much cash and credit as you can! =DD

We bought the return flight ticket from AirAsia during the promotion period. For the domestic flight in Korea, we took JejuAir which cost us just 200 bucks for two trips! It's really easy to book the flight ticket online and you not even required to fill in your passport ID!

Before the trip, I and a friend of mine applied for International Driving Permit in JPJ. The cost for IDP is RM150 per person and it took less than an hour to get it. I'm impressed.

Next, I rented a car from AJ car rental through rentalcars.com. Or you can choose to download the rentalcars apps from google playstore which is much more convenient. The car we reserved was Hyundai Avante. It was very spacious for 4 of us including our 4 big luggage.

For the KTX, we bought the day before we left Seoul to Busan from the counter in Seoul Station. It is just a two hours ride and the train is very comfortable. If you have four in a group, they will ask you to choose either 4 seats that facing each other or the one parallel. (For us, we choose to face each other so that we can chit chatting throughout the journey! XD It is more spacious compared to the parallel seat as well. )

For lodging, we mainly use Airbnb. The hosts we met are very nice to us and helpful. The rooms are all so well equipped, clean and comfortable. Besides, the locations are so strategic especially the loft house we stayed in Busan! I really love the loft house!!!

We had applied free T-money card, discount coupons, and voucher as well as maps from visit korea .
It helps us to save a little amount of T-money and entrance fee as well.

We reserved the wiyo wifi egg and collected it in KLIA 2. Although the charging cable they provided was spoilt, we manage to charge it with our own cable. The wifi egg gets handy when we trying to figure our way in a foreign city.

Last but not least, the apps we used throughout our trip.
- VisitKorea
- Rentalcars
- Subway Korea (able to calculate the cost according to fastest and least transit, very useful!!)
- 韩巢 (konest)
They are very useful for us to make sure we didn't get lost in this beautiful foreign city~

Korea Trip! *Throwback*

It's almost two and a half month since I back from South Korea. Finally, I able to sit down and write about my adventurous yet relaxing trip to the Kimchi land. (After I got photos from my pretty friend as well~!)

We traveled  in a group of four, 2 Penang girls, a Terengganu girl, and a KL girl. From Penang to KL, we took firefly flight to Subang then spent a night in Loo's place. Technically it's just a few hours in Puchong before we headed to KLIA 2 for our flight to Busan.

4am woke up. 5am to the airport. 8am boarding. 8.30am took off.
The flight took around 6 hours in the sky before we landed at Gimhae International Airport, Busan.

Holidays, begun!

Hi, Korea! *the national flag behind us*

After arriving at Gimhae International Airport, firstly we had to pass through the immigration. There was a big crowd arrived at the same time as us. The immigration in S.Korea was really efficient, we able to pass through the immigration then collected our baggage in quite a short time.

Since we had another flight to catch, we had to search for the domestic departure to Jeju Island. The information counter is always there to help, we eventually found our way to the domestic airport. It was just a short distance away from the international airport, but we had to walk there outdoor, which means in a cold weather! 15-degree celsius was just nice for us, though the strong wind would bring the temperature even lower! *We loved the cold weather as we came from a super hot country!!*

Luggage checked in! It's time for good food! Since the domestic airport didn't have many choices of food, we walked our way back to the international airport for food hunt!

After checking the price in the restaurant, we decided to feast in a Korean restaurant. We ordered tebbokki seafood and kimchi stew, total cost us 17500 krw. The octopus tebbokki was really nice, DAEBAK!! Never had tebbokki with such a big octopus before. *Satisfied meal*

Octopus tebbokki

Before this, I heard others complained that the food in Korea different from the Korean food we had back in Malaysia. They claimed the food in Korea is tasteless compared to Malaysia. What I felt was totally the opposite. The food here was delicious and savoury. My taste buds were really satisfied with our first meal! *Longing for the food now!! *

After treating our stomach, we went back to the domestic airport and waited for our flight. One thing I amazed with the airport in Korea is they have free coway water! They even prepare that in the shopping mall!

Wefie while waiting for next flight!

Touched down at Jeju Intl Airport around 8 something in the evening. We straightly went to the car rental counter (AJ Rental) which I have made the reservation online earlier. Hyundai Avante was chosen since it has bigger bonnet > for our luggage!

Thanks for brought us to a lot of places!

The first day we stayed in Sum Guesthouse which is quite near to the airport. The room we took was meant for 4 persons, it's just nice for us. After settled our stuff, we started our driving trip with food hunting game. Since we don't know any places around for good food, we decided to search from Foursquare and just go.

Guess what, we found treasure!!

Chi Mc Zip in Jeju Island!!
We randomly pick a fried chicken restaurant after our failed attempt for KyoChon . The restaurant was crowded with local. Everyone has fried chicken, chips and beer on their table. Since we were in Korea, we should just do what others did! Here our's dinner! Chi Mc Zip!! (Oops! Supper I guess...and I miss it so much!!)

Enjoying nice food with great companions.

The waiter was so nice and friendly. Good looking as well~ =P
He introduced us the Kloud beer and keep reminding us to open the beer bottle after 2 minutes. When we failed to do so, he exchanges the new one for us and even came to open it after 2 minutes! XD

After the heavy meal, we went back hostel and grab some sleep.

The next day ---- our Jeju island exploration will begin!!
