Jarret Reed Larsen
Somehow I forgot to post this on here. Sorry!
Jarret Reed Larsen born September 19th 2011. Weighed 7lbs 9oz and 19 inches long. He has lots of dark hair. He is an amazing little boy. He loves to eat all day long, which I'm not gonna complain about cause he has been sleeping wonderfully at night. The last 4 nights he goes to bed between 9:30 and 10:30 and wakes up around 7:30 or 8. And only wakes up twice to eat for about 30-45 mins. 2 nights ago he woke up once. He is amazing.

A litte bit of Grandpa Bird
We braved Grandma's attic and found some of the coolest treasures you could imagine - Grandpa's things. This black, metal, suitcase was full of letters from his mission.
Grandpa's mission call to the Great Lakes from President McKay. (I can't seem to get this picture to rotate - sorry.)
Letters in there were from Grandma to Grandpa and vice versa, while he was on his mission. Then there were some in there to and from Private ArDean Bird, while he was in the national guard, in Yakima. Can you guess who those three are? Grandma could help.Check out this beautiful spring hat.
I think Grandma looks so good in this picture! Can you guess where the hat came from? Well yes, the attic but it is the same hat she wore to the opening of the water canal in Wahluke.

Mission stats and Grandpa's drawing of the plan of salvation (on the back of a piece of cardboard - pretty neat.)
I only know this because of Josh's interest in Amateur Radio but did you know Grandpa Bird was a HAM? Here is his call sign on his radio. Josh got his license in November and so this was a pretty amazing find for all of us.

These are great finds.
I'll respond to the question of who the three women in the photo are. The one on the right is Great Grandma Bird (Theola Bird), Grandpa Bird's mother. The one in the middle is, of course, Grandma Bird. The one on the left looks a lot like Grandpa Bird's sister, Ruth (Satterfield). -

Baby Larsen #2
We had the ultrasound yesterday. everything looks great! and it's.... A BOY!! We are very excited, especially Merrill! the baby was a little shy at first, he kept his legs crossed for most of the ultrasound, but he gave in at the end and let us get a tiny peek. ;)

Graduation!

We had a jeidi too!
Michael wasn't just any kind of jeidi though, he was Yoda. Some people thought he was Shrek and I couldn't disagree. Boston was a Sushi wrap. Josh and I wore our Thing 1and Thing 2 shirts to school on Friday and got some pretty fun compliments. However in taking Michael to the local community trunk or treat I wore grandmas adorable Hawaiian dress.
