LIttle Philmont

Little Philmont at Camp LoMia! Had a good time, even got to go a day early and enjoy some quiet time with the Holyoaks! Did I say quiet time! HaHa! Bishop was trying to teach Stanley how to relax! Not an easy job, but I think he's getting the hang of it (sometimes:D) On the way up, we saw a couple motorcycles and one of them had a nice little trailer with their dog in it! Never seen anything like this! He was having fun back there! And he's very obedient!

Love taking pictures of nature and fell in love with the fall leaves and got some good pictures of some of the larger ones. I think it's pretty cool how the shadow's play on the concrete.

Took several pictures of leaves in the water. Love it when the creek runs, but it's only in the fall/winter/spring! Never in summer when we are there for camp!

Stanley setting up and getting the trailer level. So glad we took it. We were toasty warm during the cold, cold nights.

Noticed some weird berries in one of the trees and took some shots of it. I liked this one best.

Such a stark contrast in fall and love this big yellow tree!

Gathering and visiting, waiting for the program to start.

Waiting to start Pack meeting as part of our opening ceremony.

Sis. Mabel giving instructions at our Cub Pack Meeting! She's too funny! Love the accent!

Bishop Holyoak explaining his social eaters club problems. You gotta be there to really appreciate it!

Started classes at abou 8:30AM but no one could sit on the benches because of the heavy frost! It melted about 10:00!

Later that morning, huddling around the nice warm fire!

Visiting is always good! Need to get the other pictures Stanley took on his phone! We had a good time and I really enjoyed the classes. I brought some stuff up to do a craft but felt like I needed to be with my husband, seeing how I was suppose to teach a class on supporting our spouses! Needed to set a good example and I'm glad I did. It was a great morning and the spirit was felt and I heard the things I needed and I hope I said the things that were needed in my class. Always makes me nervous! Loved Little Philmont and am so grateful for those who put it together and made it a success! They did a great job! Especially loved the evening activity where we went outside and read each point of the scout law - even though it was very cold it was very nice to read and ponder on each point!

Finished wall

Sorry it's a little blurry, but you get the drift. I LOVE IT!!!! Feels so special in the room now. Of course it'll look even better when we get the crown molding done:>)
