So behind..

So I am totally behind on posting. Life with two small children is definitely keeping me busy! We had a great summer! Filled with lots of playdates, travelling, our 8 year anniversary, and even a mission trip to Africa for Kevin! We are now back in the swing of things, and I am enjoying the routine. Noelle has started Pre-K MWF this year, and she is LOVING it. She was sooo excited on "Meet the Teacher" day. At the end, she walked up to her teacher and gave her a big hug :) Her teacher seems so engaged and is very passionate about the kids. It should be a great year! Things about Noelle: she loves to learn, she is very passionate and feels deeply for others, she loves to help, she loves to color (and she is GREAT at it- definitely need to put her in some art classes soon), she is very orderly and likes things a certain way (I don't know who she gets that from :)), and she loves to teach (little brother typically gets to be her "student").

And our little man just turned 2!! He is doing well- growing and developing like crazy. He is all boy! He loves to climb and get dirty. He has been walking since 9 months so he is good with getting around and climbing....did I say "climbing" :) B/c the boy likes to climb. He loves to rough and tumble, but then he also has a very tender side to him. I love it! He still has his food allergies and reflux. We got him retested last week, and everything is still there. We are continuing to pray for healing for him. He is such a trooper! And I can't believe he is 2!!
Love these sweet kiddos of mine! They are a joy to my heart! And they challenge me in ways I never thought I could be challenged! Praise the Lord for that!

Baby girl turns 4!!

So behind on posting, but better late than never I say :) So my sweet baby girl is 4 now. She is such a delight to my heart! She keeps me laughing and smiling. She is full of life and energy. She is so passionate about life and learning. She challenges me all the time with the things she thinks about and wants to learn about. Love this sweet girl! She is truly a gift to her daddy and I!

Merry Christmas 2009

Luke 2:10-11 "..behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."

Thanksgiving 2009

I am so thankful for my family. I always pictured being married with children, but you never know what the Lord has in store for you. And I am so thankful that the Lord entrusted me with an amazing husband and two precious children. Thank you Lord for the here and now and for my family.

Our Little Monkey...Happy Halloween

Not so happy.

Much better.Ready to play. The "Queen of the butterflies" is ready to go

We had a great halloween! We had a neighborhood party with a bounce house, food, candy, and trick or treating. It was so much fun! Noelle had a blast going door to door with her friends Zane and Maggie. Our whole street practically stayed home, so it made it really fun for the kids. And we got to spend some time with our neighbors and our friends Josh and Elly :)

Noelle's Preschool Halloween Party

Last Thursday, Noelle had her preschool halloween party. I got to go up for an hour and help out. It was so fun to see the kids all dressed up and so excited. Noelle was supposed to be a clown, but at the last minute decided she wanted to be "queen of the butterflies" :) Not quite sure where she came up with that, but we made it work. I threw her costume together the night before, and it worked out perfect. And she was excited!

Ready to head in to see Mrs. Farmer. Noelle kept telling me, "Mrs. Farmer isn't even going to recognize me!!" So cute! Ready to head into the gamesMrs. Farmer and Noelle

Traded in her tiara for a car helmet

Noelle had a birthday party last weekend and she had alot of fun! Lots of girlie things to do. Fixing hair, making purses, decorating cupcakes, and getting tutus. I was telling the mom that Noelle really likes cars, trucks, and animals. And I look over and she has taken her tiara off and put on a car helmet :) Too funny.
