The Laws Family

So our air conditioner is finally fixed and we are home. There is definitely no place like home- your own bed, your own routine... I very much appreciate my family for letting us take over through the weekend and yesterday. I am sure they are glad to have their house back. Now, if we can just catch up on some things (sleep, laundry, groceries..) before baby boy arrives that would great! Just a week or two left. So we will see.

So we get to add yet another crazy thing to the list of things to happen my last month of pregnancy. I don't know whether to laugh or cry or both. Actually I have done both. So not only did my two year old fracture my foot and I am now with crutches and a foot shoe thing. Our air conditioner in the house has now broken twice, and we have been house hopping. I am so ready to go home. We are all sleep deprived which isn't good because I need all the rest I can get before more sleep deprivation begins. But supposedly, today is the day the air conditioner is to be fixed. I sure hope so!

I am now 37 weeks pregnant, and baby boy Laws is due any day now. Last week, at my OB appt she said I was 1 cm and 60% effaced. I have been having a lot of prelabor contractions, so we will see when he decides to make his grand entrance. The waiting game is always a weird one. Filled with lots of different emotions- excitement, nervousness, apprehension.... We did finally decide to take some pictures last week at the house. We are a little behind, but better late than never. So here is a sample of Kevin's great work.
