Snowed In

Sunday evening it started to snow and by Sunday night - it was still snowing. And when we got up Monday morning - it was still snowing. We haven't seen snow like this for a long time.

My neighbor was picking up Mccoy for school and she got stuck in our driveway. I had to push her out. Then about 10:00 I got a phone call saying the elementary school kids were getting out early, but they were only running the bus once so Mccoy had to stay at school an extra hour and a half. He was okay with that, he got to eat lunch at school. (Someday he won't think that is so cool.)

When he got home we went outside and tried to make a snowman, but this was not good snow for making a snowman. It was way to fluffy. (Good for skiing, too bad we don't ski.) Anyway we piled snow and got a snowman head.

What can I say!

I wanted to do a new post, but didn't have anything in mind so these are the pictures that were on my camera.
This first one is Mccoy. I really don't know what to say, I'm not sure what he was doing, Mark took the picture. Mccoy looks like this a lot. He is always dressing up and tying things on him.

This next picture is Lindsey having a "hair day". On days we don't need to go anywhere sometimes her hair just doesn't get done. This particular day we didn't need to go anywhere.

Carter doesn't have any hair and isn't into dressing up, but he does have the cutest laugh.. In these pictures he was laughing and when I starting to record him he of course quit.

Over a month!

It has been over 1 month since the last time I posted. Yes, a lot has happened. We had a good Christmas and the kids were spoiled, but hey what is Santa for. Ha Ha. The digital camera battery died Christmas morning, so all our pictures are on the old fashioned take the film to Wal-Mart to be developed camera. We went out the next Tuesday for a hot dog roast and some sledding. Mccoy and Lindsey had a blast and Carter slept most of the time (thank goodness). It was pretty cold so we built a fire and huddled around it all day.

Later it was time to take a break and warm up with some hot chocolate.
Mccoy, Josh and Chad thought they could pull a fast one on the rest of us and hid up on the rocks and called out like a pack of coyotes. We were only nervous for a minute, but hey they tried. Then Carter woke up and let us all know it was time to go home. It was really cold and it was getting late and he had had enough - all 30 minutes he was awake.
