Les's Bestest

Caleb's getting a little brother. Or sister, according to Kimball. We'll find out in another 7 or 8 weeks. The babe is due to arrive the first week of May, unless he or she follows his or her older brother's poor example and comes late. We'll postpone discussion of who my favorite child is until that point.

I'm excited! We need someone to keep Caleb company around here. I know for certain Caleb gets so bored with me. And I'm looking forward to having another little person around too-especially now that I feel so much better and get to share the great news. It was hard keeping it a secret, especially with you all around here helping us out so much on our house.

Speaking of which, yes, we will be moved into our house by then so of course you are invited to help paint the nursery. Yahoo.

So....are you surprised? Were you suspicious?

I feel so blessed. With all of the crazy things going on in the world, it's scary to think about trying to raise brand new little people up and teach them all that they need to know to be who they really are-Children of God. I believe that with all of my heart; it's come from having my Caleb around to teach me. I'm grateful to be somebody's Mommy. It is the best and hardest job in the world.

I love to read like I love to sleep. In fact, sometimes reading wins out over sleeping. I've been in love with books since I was tiny and I hope I stay that way until I'm old.

I've wanted to have my own book blog for quite a while and I'm glad it's finally starting. Yay! I have to keep track of where all my time goes when I'm lost in some book-world.

This blog is pretty much for my personal benefit and enjoyment, but I'm glad to share!
