We enjoyed several Christmas celebrations. We are SO blessed with such wonderful family. New additions this year through marriage and new births!

This picture cracks me up, because it represents their personalities so well!

I wanted to make sure I went back and added our December activities. Here are some pictures:

Initially, Wyatt looked very similar to Noah. As the days go on, he is beginning to look a little different. I think most people agree that he looks more like Levi. Here are some pictures I found to compare Noah and Wyatt! It was just one more reminder of how quickly this time passes! I feel like those pictures with Noah were just yesterday!

So like I said in my previous post, I had a scheduled c-section for Wyatt on Wednesday, Jan. 4. But I started having contractions early Monday morning. I actually wasn't even sure if they were contractions because with Noah my water just broke and I knew to come in. They seemed really low and it wasn't my whole stomach that was contracting. Anyways, once I started timing them and saw they were consistently 10 minutes apart, I decided to call and they told me to go ahead and go in. Monday was considered a holiday for them, so the hospital seemed empty. They hooked me up and saw that I was having minor contractions, but they were never really getting any stronger or closer than 10 minutes apart. My doctor came by and decided to go ahead and do the c-section since I was already there and scheduled for one in 2 days. I figured we would have some time to contact our families that it was time (we had not told them for sure up until then because I still thought there was a chance I would be sent home). Nope, she said she was ready to do it in 30 minutes!! This in a way was good for me so I didn't have too much time to think about it and get TOO anxious. We finished up the paperwork, told our families what was going on so they could head up, and I went back. At 12:20 pm on 1/2/12, Wyatt Pence Dillon was born. He swallowed some meconium on the way out and had to go to the NICU for a couple of hours but was fine after that. He is as precious as can be with a full head of dark hair and a deep dimple in his left cheek. He looked so much like Noah when he was first born, but as days go on he is starting to look different. Noah is doing pretty good and enjoys showing him off. We are home and getting adjusted, loving being a family of four!
