If only having kids were this easy

So, I totally love my friend Celeste, cause she find the coolest, weirdest, wildest stuff on the Internet. She had a recent blog post about this cool website. That uses face recognition technology to determine what two peoples kids would look like. I enjoyed it some much I decided to start my own family. I now have five kids.

Fist is my oldest Magnum. His mother Jessica didn't stick around for long, she was a good kisser though.

Next is my second son, Ruger. He's a toe head like me. His mother Jenifer is one of the sweetest women ever.

Alas my second relationship didn't last. In my heart break I had a rebound relationship with Kim that lasted two year and brought me my little sweetie Beretta.

With three kids and me all alone I needed some one to love. And some one to love me and my kids. I found her and she gave me twins, Smith and Wesson. I only get to dress one, she gets to dress the on there one.

Now that my moment of craziness if over I debated whether to post this or not. But I figured that the only people to read this know how crazy I am and will get a kick out of this. So enjoy and remember this is all in jest. ;-)

California YSA Conference

This last weekend was a state wide California YSA conference. We all gather at our respective temple district for a big hula Saturday and Sunday. I'm in the LA temple district so we all truck down that way early Saturday. Since the had sooooo many people sign up they divided us into two groups at two different locations. They split us into 18-23 and 24-30. I fell into the older group. I was a big worried that every one would be totally weird and awkward. Turns out I was wrong. Most of the people were pretty cool. There were even some really cute and cool one. And a few hotties even.

All in all I had a great time. Except for the scary dance. The dance was unlike any dance I have ever seen, church dance or not. It was like a club out of my worst nightmares. Okay maybe not that bad but close. That had all this heavy rap and rave music playing, I didn't see anything resembling dancing--more of a mosh pit. And the girls... Half of them turned into skanks. They were wearing tights, and maybe a micro-skirt overt them often not. Totally not church appropriate. Lets just say it turned me off of these girls and the dance.

How ever church the next day totally made up for it. The conference really ended on a high note. Very spiritual and enjoyable. I enjoyed myself and realized two things. One, I don't do SoCal dances. Two there really are normal singles my age.

Let them eat cake...

Question! How do you decorate a cake for a baptism?

Really, how?

The back-story. So a guy from here in Ridgecrest, Tim, was baptized Saturday. So being the cool guy I am, I called his woman/girlfriend, who is one of the active YSAs here, and asked if there was going to be an after party. My purpose on this was to volunteer to bring some thing. Whatever she wanted: ice cream, root beer floats, muffins, cookies, cake. Guess what she suggested? Potato casserole! For a late night after baptism party, really? Not to mention that today is Fast Sunday, so it is the singles potluck, for which I generally make potato casserole. After some nudging, she decided on a cake. Then she asked me to decorate it for the occasion. I asked for suggestion on how to decorate it and got nada.

So left to my own creativity. I envisioned grassy hills, a blue sky and clouds. This is the out come:
Not bad. But then I got thinking that a baptism is like a spiritual rebirth. So I should make it year zero birthday cake. So, I bought candle and spiced it up a bit.

(The five funny looking candle burned with flames the color of the candle.)

We then sang 'Congratulations to you'* to Tim and let him make a wish and blow out the candles.
Turns out I was the only one who brought/made anything, including the hostess. But everyone loved the cake. And it looked pretty awesome looking.

I guess I have a bit of baker in me after all.
