Cookie Decorating WITH FRIENDS

We changed our annual gingerbread house
making to cookie decorating this year.
In keeping with the tradition of inviting
families to join us we had the
Taylors and Veals over.
Along with the cookie decorating
we played a FRIENDLY game of
nerts and pictionary gossip and
simply ENJOYED the company of
FUN friends.

Married to MY LOVE for 19 Years!

This is my FAVORITE!

--The story of my short fingernail--
The week before we were married I broke my
fingernail while moving things in to our apartment.
The nail didn't break completely off so I went to the
salon and got it repaired.  The repair held up well, however,
just after our sealing, as we were to exchange rings,
to my horror, the fingernail was hanging by a thread.
Without another thought I ripped the nail off and
shoved it in Fred's shirt pocket.  What could have been
a devastating event became a fond and funny memory for me.

MY!  How I LOVE this man!!!
NINETEEN years and COUNTING!

Louisville, KY -- Fred's New Job

Fred has taken a new job in New Albany, Indiana.
We are NOT leaving Georgia.  Fred makes the commute
to Louisville, KY, just across the river from New Albany,
on Sunday night and returns home
Thursday afternoon.  Fred and I made the
6 hour road trip to check out the place.
We had a GREAT time!

Our hotel lobby
 Gordon Biersch brewery for dinner.
Good food and AMAZING root beer.
