Life and Times of the Lewis'

Yeah... we're slackers... again. Here's a little of what's been going on in our busy summer lives!

Mia had a birthday! (madi did too, just can't find the pictures at the time!)

Whitney got to go to EFY at BYU!

Spring is here Spring is here, it's the best time of the year!!

Seriously can we not enjoy some sun! I suppose the upside to this weather, is that our Spring Break is later and HOPEFULLY we can have some warmer days!

Today we decided that we should add some Spring lovn' to our house, in hopes of bringing the sun out!

The girls and I made these decorations to add to our TWO other Spring/Easter Decorations! Yes, sisters you can be as amazed as mom was to see I can actually sew!!

I better clarify...... We did not make the Ducks! I would so have more dollars than I have now! But the carrots we did make! Cute huh!

These little Spring cuties are Madi and Mia's Easter baskets we sewed up today! We are ready for Peter Cottontail to come hoppn' down the bunny trail! He may as well borrow Santa's Sleigh!

The weekend goes by so quickly! We hardly catch our breath, before we begin again!

Marcus was in St. George all last week, so that made our week a little lonely, but certainly not less active! Our days get filled with preschool, gymnastics and volleyball, so why not add a little baseball in on that! What else would we spend our time on!

Friday was my down day...loved it! Marcus got home at midnight Thursday, so that calls for a sleeping in day for all of us! Well 5:45 for me and Whit! I will take what I can get! The late night travel causes me anxiety, not even a Tylenol p.m. can help me sleep!

We are glad to have him home...... well kind of home! This is what he does when he has a spare moment!

TAXES!!!! This is my kitchen table for Friday night/ all day Saturday! Good thing he loves it!

Recently Mia has decided to change her name! She signs everything with this now! She will answer to Ella or Ella Bella, which ever one she's is feeling that day!

A side note on Mia; Whitney had to speak in church yesterday. As Whit and the other girl had finished, Mia said, "That girls talk was good, but Whit's was OFF THE HOOK!!" Then explaining to me that means good mom!

Marcus took time to play with the girls. They love when he is the Chihuahua!

What a day this has been! I've decided 8th grade is a whole lot of work! Whit has been plugging away all afternoon with a creative poem, math, studying for a math test, and this major project! She may or may not have waited a little long for this project!

Whitney is creative no doubt!!! McKay was even impressed with the couch! He still doesn't believe it was made of cardboard!!

This is how a morning conversation went:

Do you have you have your teeth brushed? Mia: No I'm just getting my make up on!

What......?

Mia: I am just thinking of how I should do my hair now, almost done!

I love how Mia has learned so much from the older sister!

Dawsyn got to come stay with us for a while, while Kimala and Cole went on their cruise! We had so much fun!

They washed W's off the windows to learn the letter W for Preschool!

Mia and Dawsyn helped watch for the bus every morning.

"I want my mommy" sweet girl. She got scared when the dog sneezed. She took a nap most everyday, she was so worn out!

The girlies! They took turns rolling down the a mattress. Luckily no insurance card was needed!

Too tired!

Mia and I! It only needs to be 40 degrees to be short and sandal weather! We take what we can get!!

Holly and Savanah came to play for a few minutes!

We had so much fun with Dawsyn! Sad when she had to leave....

For a Relief Society/Young Women activity, we did a cupcake war! It was a blast!

It was so fun to see everyone's different ideas!
