We woke up to a winter wonderland outside the other day. Drake had a couple days off from school, which he was beyond thrilled with. He and Kevin had a snowball fight when we got home from picking him up from grandma and papa's house. Drake had a friend over for the day at their house while we were at work. Needless to say, the kid was beyond tired that night :) Unfortunately, the snow is now just about gone. It's pretty much one big pile of slush outside. Hopefully it snows some more this week!!

It's been awhile since my last post....
A lot has happened since my last entry. I graduated college, Drake is now in 3rd grade, we are moving into our apartment in a few weeks, Drake started baseball last spring and played through the summer. He LOVED it and wants to play again this year.
Drake and I have been blessed with an amazing man in our lives. His name is Kevin and we met through a friend. We couldn't have asked for a better man to share our life with. He has twin 4 year old boys who are absolutely wonderful. we all enjoy our time we get to spend together. Drake and the boys get along really well, which is a great bonus!!
