LIFE IS HARDING

So on Sunday we were at Trace's mom's having dinner and about 3 pm I started having the normal contractions but they were painful so I was like huh I wonder if these are like what people feel when they have those painful contraction's during delivery? So I asked Trace's mom and she was like oh I bet it is your body just telling you that it is getting ready for the baby? So I was like ya that could be true? So I waited and about an hour went by before I was like no I think these are contractions so we went home and I got in the tub to try and get them to calm down which they didn't really they were about 5 to 8 min apart so I went and laid down to relax and that didn't really help well then of course the stinker wasn't moving at all I did the orange juice and stuff to get her to move and nothing so I was worried about that and not to mention the contractions. So me and Trace got in the car it was about 8:30 and drove over to the hospital to see if the baby was OK not even worried about the contractions really. So they hooked me up and right as she put the heart monitor on for the baby what happens she starts to move like crazy and her heart rate was just fine so then they started watching my contractions and they were about 3 to 5 min apart and some of them were pretty painful I could handle the pain but it hurt so she checked me when we first got there and I was at a 1 and 80% effaced so she said well I'm going to watch these and check you in an hour and call your doctor and see what he wants to do so an hour passes and she comes back checks me and I am now a 2 and have effaced a little more so she said I'm going to call your doctor. So she comes back with discharge papers and said that he wants me to take my last dose of Nifedipine and have a Morphine shot that will either make me go to sleep or send me into labor and I will be back in a few hours. So I got the shot and went home and fell asleep and woke up the next day. So we almost had a baby on Sunday but I'm glad she is still waiting. I will keep you posted.

I know that I haven't posted for a longtime but I have been busy with getting ready for this little one to come that I have neglected to post on my blog. So to catch you up at 29 weeks I woke up on Friday October 1st and wasn't feeling her move that same week I hadn't been feeling her move a lot so I was trying to keep track of her movements so I went down stairs and ate some candy and drank some juice had a piece of toast with jam to get her to move she moved once and still nothing after an hour so I decided I would drive of to L&D like my doctor had told me to do earlier that week. So I get there and just started to cry like a big baby that I am sometimes and they said well lets get you hooked up on some monitors and so they did and immediately there was her heart beat and it was like music to my ears. So they said they were going to watch her for a little bit so a little while later they came in and said I was having contractions and having a lot of them so they wanted to watch those for a while. So time wise I got there around 7 and it is now 9 there was a lady that was about to deliver and they let me know of that and were really nice to me this entire time. Then I hear a man's voice and in walks Dr. Anderson (my OB) and I said what are you doing here and he said oh I was just in the neighborhood which I figured was not the case. He said that I was having contractions and too many of them he said that I had to stop running and take it easy he gave me some medicine that they call smooth muscle so that I will stop contracting so much which that was a very expensive medicine $85.00 so for the next 10 weeks I had to be careful. So then on October 16th Ashlyn, Jill and Deni threw me a baby shower I got some great things and thanks again to everyone that came that means a lot. We had two Halloween parties one on the 23rd and the other on the 29th I dressed up for the one on the 29th and the one on the 23rd I didn't feel like dressing up I will have to post some pictures when I get some and I have a few pictures of my belly that I will post on here too. So on Monday I had to go see the doctor again I am having more contraction again and started back on my medicine because I had gone off of it since my contractions had eased but now they are happening again so he told me that I am dilated to a 1 which I figure is normal and that he wants me to pretty much do nothing for 2 weeks so I have to cut back at work and take it easy. I am still working but I will be leaving a little earlier then normal and Today and tomorrow we have only one doctor and she gets done at 2 so I can leave after that which may help me to relax a little but I have to make it to 36 weeks. So that is what has been happening my mom and Trace's mom are throwing me a shower this Saturday and I will have to make sure I get pictures I have been really bad at taking pictures but I better get better at taking them! Sorry such a long post with no pictures.

OK so I know I have been a big slacker but I have a lot to do. Well for a recap of the last month we went to Lake Powell the weekend of August 5Th I have pictures and will post them. I took a picture of my belly at 23 weeks and I haven't done anymore so I need to take more that is one thing I never remember to do. Everything is going great I am still running when I can but I have to walk more then run lately. We have bought a Stroller travel system as well as my mom got us the baby bedding now I just need to decided on a crib that I like which is a hard thing to do it wouldn't seem that way but it is. I have bought a few outfits for her and have bought wipes and diapers. Some of our family and friends have bought an outfit or diapers for her so that has been nice. We now have the task of cleaning out her nursery which won't be hard we don't have a lot of things in there just some bags and things since we don't have a basement for storage other rooms become that for us. We are so excited for her to come and can't wait to see what she looks like. I will get pictures posted and try to be more up to date on the blog.

GIRL!!

We are so excited to have found out what we are having we really didn't care either way. We will love this baby no matter boy or girl. Now comes the fun part finding a crib, stroller, crib bedding and figuring out the nursery. Any suggestions?

Ok so I hate not posting in forever and the fact that I have pictures but they are on my camara and I am at work posting I promise I will put some pictures up of what we have been up to and right now I will let you know what we have been doing.
So the pregnancy is going great I haven't had any complaints as of yet no sickness and I am still running as much as I can life is so busy and I love to run so I will keep it up as long as I can. We go in on July 27Th to find out what we are having and I can't wait a lot of people have the speculations I really don't have any feelings really but I'm thinking girl but we will have to see I would love either or. We moved into a new office at work just down the hall from the old office. We went to Lake Powell on June 24Th we got there late that night and then we got up and met up with our friends we came home on Sunday the 27Th and then on July 2ND we went up to Scofield for Scofield day's we came home Sunday and then went back up to Trace's mom and dad's property to have dinner with them and Cade Shay, Kinley and Dylan it was lots of fun. On Monday we went boating with a few friends which is always fun. We have been pretty busy lately which is fine with us. Well I will try to get the pictures on here and keep you up to date on what we are having.

I better spill my good news not a lot of people said anything about my hidden message that I put in the last two post's ago so my announcement is..... Drum Roll........


I'M PREGNANT!!!!

Me and Trace are expecting a baby on December 13Th and we are so excited. We have been married for five years now and we decided that we have had some fun and wanted to add a baby to our family. I can't wait to see who this baby is going to look like and what we are having. We have had a couple of appointment's and we got to see the and hear the heart beat yesterday that little thing was just a kickin all over the place. I have felt great no sickness I only had one day driving home that I felt nauseous and I can honestly say it has worried me that I have felt so good. So after confirming that the baby is still in there I felt now was a good time to tell. I will keep everyone posted.

We are off to Wendover tonight to see Merle Haggard in concert I'm really excited it should be lots of fun. We are going down with Ryan and Deni to see the concert and then we are meeting up with a few friends after the concert and we will be home Saturday I will have to try and remember my camera and take pictures I have been so horrible at that lately!

So last week was fun I don't have any pictures but I will still post something instead. Me and Trace have Been married for 5 years now wow how time flies! So to celebrate we went down to St. George on Thursday night the day of our anniversary. Jace and Ashlyn came down with us and it was a lot of fun Friday was a little chilly and we met up with some other friends Jessie, Staci, Jory and Staci's little brother Travis. Then Saturday was beautiful we layed out and played in the pool and met up for dinner with everyone at Texas RoAdhouse and we had a surprise visitor Zach he drove down it was fun to see him. Sunday me and Trace wanted to go to a nursery down there to look at there tree's they always have the best deals so we go cruising in there and low and behold we find a shade master locust tree it is oh about 15 to 18 feet tall I mean it is a huge Beautiful tree leaves are out and everything for get this $98.00 we had to get it for that price so Trace and Zach went and bought a set of sheet's and we wrapped it up with duct tape and bungee cords and put it in the back of Zach's truck and him and Trace's hauled it home and I drove my car with Ashlyn and Jace. We got home and unwrapped it and a few leaves fell off but other then that it is looking great! Today is my birthdaY and we are having family over for pizza and cake not sure what we will do this weekend but we will have to see.
