We had so much fun on Easter! At little church Samuel got to have an Easter Egg Hunt outside and then we were off to Nommy and Grandaddy's for lunch. It was so fun to see Baby Travis all dressed up for Easter. He is so adorable! Samuel had another egg hunt before we ate lunch.

My mom made an adorable bunny cake and an easter egg basket cake, and we thought that it would be cute to put Baby Travis in the middle of them and take pictures, but the pictures turned out a little funny....it kind of looks like Travis is being served for dessert.

Samuel hasn't been too sure about Travis, so this is the first time that Samuel touched him. I think that Samuel thought that he looked pretty cute too.
The Proud Parents!

Our next stop was at Kyle's aunt and uncle's ranch, so skipping Samuel's (and my) nap, we were off to see Kyle's fam.
Samuel was ready for his 3rd egg hunt of the day!

Samuel loved driving Rylee's new car, I think he felt pretty cool driving his cousins around.

My Sweet Nephew!
Yesterday afternoon at 12:37 pm, my sweet nephew Travis Samuel Wakefield was born! He was 8 pounds 1 ounce, 20.75 inches. Emily did so awesome and made it through 21 hours of difficult labor with no food or sleep and Reid was there for her for every second of it! Baby Travis is beautiful with adorable little cheeks and a full head of dark hair. I love my little nephew!!!

Pancakes, Putt Putt, and a Petting Zoo
Recently, Samuel and I have been on a pancake kick...maybe I should say, I have been on a pancake kick and Samuel is loving it! Kyle heard of a great pancake place, so this morning we tried a new breakfast joint and enjoyed their delicious griddle cakes! Afterwards, with our bellies full, we took Samuel to go play Putt Putt for the 1st time. He received real golf clubs for Christmas from PawPaw that are just his size, so he was so excited to get to really play. We had so much fun and he did great! He almost had a hole in one, and on many of the holes he made it in 2 or 3 shots. Even the holes that took him a while longer, he was just as excited once he made it in and he would still exclaim, "Hole in One!" and take a bow. We played 36 holes and he would have kept playing if we would have let him.

Across the parking lot they had a petting zoo and a bounce house. Samuel loved getting to pet and play with all of the animals, I think his favorites were the baby goats. It was so fun to play outside and enjoy the beautiful day!

It Snowed!!!
Today Samuel and I were so excited to wake up and find snow all over the ground! We hurried through our pancakes so that we could get our warm clothes on and go play outside before it melted. We made the world's smallest snowman from the snow off my car, and threw snowballs at each other. Samuel had fun pegging me in the back, but his rule for me was that I could only throw snowballs at his shoes.

The snow melted pretty quickly, before we were even able to make snow angels! We had practiced making them on our carpet the night before, and he was so excited, but I guess we will have to wait until next year.
Samuel had even more fun tonight playing with Daddy in the pillows. He was laughing so hard as he was hiding from me and then bursting from the pillows to surprise me!

The Big Catch
This past weekend we went to the lake with Nommy and Grandaddy. It was very relaxing and Samuel LOVED fishing and playing basketball, catch, croquet, golf, water guns and sliding. He even caught a really big catfish! He had been fishing for a while and he was ready to go play basketball, so they left the fishing poles on the dock with the bait and hook still in the water. When we came back down a little while later, we found a big catfish on the end of one of the poles. Samuel was so excited and named the fish Albert. After catching such a big fish, he's not too sure about swimming in the water this summer with all of the other fish.
