Of Love and Life..

It's been only a week since Good Friday?!? The last week was quite a drag. Maybe coz i had quite a bit (a tad bit too much) alone time..
Following the fantastic Wii party we had, we had trainings on Wed, Sat and our game vs Pasirians on Sunday. Floorball overdose... haha
Spent the week psyching myself up for the league! Finally kicked off our first game yesterday and it was heart-stopping really. Down by 0-2 and managed to catch up from behind and win 5-3. Miraculously, i scored a goal!! Damn happy about it. Really spurred me to try even harder for the upcoming games. Tho i was a little xianz coz i din get to play anymore immediately after i scored. Just when i was so hyped up and all... haha, but its OK la..
Sunday games really burn my weekends. Doesn't help that the weather all weekend was Scorching, humid and the smelly halls... *eeewwww* gave me such a headache after that.

Besides that, it was quite an eventful week. Met up with Mdm Ong and Ms Chia for dinner and caught up with them. Talkin bout our jobs and all... I really do miss them and the rest STILL.. It was nice!! Met up with Clara and some others after that for coffee and pool. First time gathering and i think clubbing suits them better. haha

I'm all psyched up about the travel plans that are slowly taking shape with the girls. I think i can do with one like right now!

OK, on a more serious note, i'm absolutely happy to tears that my bud had gotten her flat and been proposed to... I think everything's fallin in place and i'm just so excited for her!! Congrats, womie! The day we knew would come (and have dreamed of) 10 years ago, is here! =)
Although nothing has changed, selfish ol' me just cant help feelin like i'm losing her... haha

For myself, we had a hellava roller coaster conversation on wednesday night that left us both pretty drained. I really learnt a lot from what we talked about that night and i must say that i'm surprised by how serious he actually is.. And i'm glad we talked coz it turns out we're actually on the same line, its just that things were not laid out clearly, so he assumed other stuff and scared himself out... Anyways, the bottomline is, dont jump into anything u may regret later...

On a side note, i have been conversing with many others and well, as least from a girl's pt of view, you will actually notice that most girls actually WANT to settle down young (nowadays, young is like 28?)... Although i've spoken to many others who are like still 28 or more, they all say they dont wanna settle down or too early n they think we're too young to be thinkin bout settling down. But if you think it through, it really just boils down to a few common facts. They are single or haven found the one.
Ask any ordinary girl who's say about 25 and have dated seriously for about 2 years? They will be ready to settle down. So my conclusion is that some girls who say they dont wanna get married (so young), in actual fact means "i'm single".. Coz if the converse is true for them, they would be wallowing in self pity which is sad. So some guys who feel that girls can afford to just wait till like 35 to get married, what's the rush? Do you really want to think this way? 'fraid not.

HAhhaaaa, many events and gatherings after i got back and before i knew it, its like Mid April already!
I just realised i cant imagine life without floorball... we see each other every week (more often than i meet my close pals), now we see each other twice or even 3 times a week... i talk to a few of them almost everyday and life seems to just revolve around floorball..

Tenses was such fun, seeing all my old teammates turn up!
Then we had endless friendlies, before the actual league starts this weekend!
Not forgettin we had the good fwiiday, which was a bunch of fun as usual =)
Too many games suddenly!!! hahaha but its always gd fun!!
Had dinner with Doreen as well, who's gonna get married like soon!!!!! N there we were going on n on bout house talk. A out of the blue Wee Nam Kee Chicky Rice lunch with woman, to talk through my (our) grouses.. Family gathering for Qing Ming... n dinner with Mdm Ong and Ms Chia... On the other hand, i'm getting lazier n lazier on weekends... hahaha tired from sat's training.. age is catchin up!!!

I learnt over the weekend that i cant control how a person wants to spend his money, but i can only advice n say that much. 'Nuff said...
